Oculus Quest travel case for $15, down from $40. With the Quest 2 coming out Best Buy has put the official case on sale. This is one of my first post, if I did something wrong feel free to correct me.

I'm not sure how you glommed "avoid" from that. The author of that article seemed to have a large amount of bias towards privacy concerns. The actual quality improvements seemed significant aside from battery life.
Yeah now that I read different reviews, you are right.
Also, can't you just make a new FB account just for Oculus with limited info?

That's one reviewer who sounds very sour. Also they are not saying it's a downgrade, just not much of an upgrade. Every other review I read detailed how the 2 is a better system and could conceivably cost less.
Yeah getting the same sour vibe from this guy now. He apparently hates FB.
But the tracking and headstrap are no concern really?

Looking at that headstrap I immediately ordered the upgraded one when preordering. I have a feeling that thing is not going to distribute the weight very well

It is slightly lighter than gen1 though (500 vs 570grams)

It's pretty relevant to bring up the fact that a modded Quest won't fit in this case.
When was that brought up in regards to my response?

Still, that soft head strap isn't going to give the support it needs to be comfortable on the face, still going to be a bit front heavy, I think the elite strap will be a big improvement
