Why do you want your ankles to be locked into place while running? All you're doing is making your knees and other parts of your legs over-extend because your ankles are being wrapped. As many good shoes as there are for explicitly running, I don't know why you'd want these for running. Even if money is an issue, the cost of your legs giving you issues later in life will be more expensive than paying little now.

Is this a bluetooth speaker?
Nope. But they do function as gloves and earmuffs.

Fair enough. I used to play basketball in my Pegasus and almost rolled my ankles multiple times. Didn't stop until it happened to a friend with who was playing with Vapormax and tore his ACL landing.

I'm wearing these right now as I comment and can confirm that run tight, order a half-size bigger or a full size up. They are comfy tho. It was really tight at first, but now they feel OK.

For those who had ankle injuries in the past, are these the shoes to get?

Running shoes have, how do I say it, not as flat in the front part of the underfoot as basketball shoes, as they are designed to go forward. Basketball shoes in the other hand have great tractions on all directions, usually wider for stability, more cushion on the heels too.

based on you logic, a basketball player doesn't run? a basketball player "has their ankles locked into place" using these shoes?

honestly I'm curious if these would be decent running shoes, but poor speculation doesn't help.

I've never heard of this site. And the fact that is a commercial site under the ".net" makes me wonder its legitimacy. It's a pass for me.
