One comment says it is bonded leather, and the pictures/reviews don't look good. Probably okay for occasional use. I'm going to skip this.

If you want a good belt, try hanksbelts dot com.. I have one, and it was expensive, but it's real 1/4 inch thick solid leather (16oz leather). I just checked their website, and a lot of their stuff I was looking at is out of stock.. Considering the cost of these belts, they either keep very low stock or the high quality keeps people coming back for more.

Just another cheap crappy belt. Genuine leather only means anything made out of leather. They are just about always tiny pieces of leather that are glued together, and then sealed with a backing. These type of belts just fall apart after continued use.I have had a few when I did not take the time to know the difference and they all just broke after about 3-4 months. What you need to look for are full grain, which is the best, or top grain. Because these are high quality belts the leather quality will always be noted for them.
Stay away from genuine leather.
A top grain leather ratchet belt is going to run about $60, unless you know of a cheaper place? If you don't, why are we comparing apples to oranges? I suspect this will hold up long enough to get my $9 out of it... but appreciate the word of caution.

Folks, it's $9 shipped to your door and has 4.5 out of 5 stars (758 reviews) with a fakespot rating of a B. Take that for what you will, but this is not a risky gamble.

On desktop only shows picture for Z2 so I think that's the only one available.

Seems like it scratches easily which was the same for my black Mission Belt (which cost a lot more tho).

Also, the term "genuine leather" isn't reassuring you that the item is made of real leather, it as an actual distinct grade of leather and is the second worst type of leather there is:

Not sure why people are complaining about a $9 belt not being "full grain" leather. You get what you pay for and if it lasts a couple years then that's pretty good. If you want to pay for a $50/100 full grain leather belt then that's your prerogative.

I do not know where you shop, but I was in TJ Max a couple days back and I found a couple full grain leather belts for under $20.
