I have one over 10 years old and still looks/works like new. A friend also got the Classic 575 for her tea shop for slushies, ran over 10,000 cycles in a year and still going strong.

I would agree I tried to save a few with a blendtec and it gave out and leaked bought a vitamix and very happy I wish someone had told me sooner

We've had ours for 8 years and only recently got over 1200 cycles. Motor still strong and great but I'm on my third jar. First two cracked at the blade bearing and started leaking. Got one as a warranty replacement and then they had sent another one due to a lawsuit settlement I believe. If my jar goes out again I'd buy another jar. And if the motor goes out I'd most likely buy another one. Or maybe try a vitamix.
