In what way are you asking? In terms of power, Convenience, vacuuming results? I have never owned one, but I am more interested in these cordless V-series than the corded vacuums mainly because of the convenience. I'm waiting on a great deal for a Fluffy model for my hardwood floors to go from room to room without plugging/unplugging.

avoid the v6, great for two years then just pieces of plastic falling off.

alot worse? in some ways. corded will last you years and years usually. cordless are not as powerful so people use them as supplmentary cleaning. I usually use the cordless through the week and corded on the weekend for deep cleaning. the more expensive models may work as an absolute replacement. although if you only had wood floors it could work as your main vaccuum.

I am so very confused over all these modes. Is the Fluffy model a special attachment? I have both hardwood and carpet. Would this one be ok, or should I wait for the model you mentioned. Go easy on me here! lol = )

Fluffy has a soft brush head, soft as in soft like cloth.

This model has hard plastic and firm bristles/brushes. The brushes are better for carpet while the soft one is great for hard floors. You can always buy the other head attachment.

Does well with the soft brush head. You have to buy it separately.
