Wow. Bragging about being greedy...screwing three others out of the deal...same ole, same ole stuff going on here on SD that's been going on for years. Privileged individuals that don't need these deals, at all, making deals like this go away for everyone. No wonder the great deals we used to get have gone away.
That's not greed, that's a slick deal

It's the ability to add gift card balance, to your amazon account, in a retail setting. Show the cashier the barcode, hand them cash, and bam, the funds are added to your Amazon account. Convenient for boomers............if they can figure it out.LMAOlaugh out loud

Horrible promo especially during the pandemic where people should be avoiding unnecessary visits to a store

The Last time it was Min $20.
I went to Rite-Aid and added $20 each to my four Amazon accounts.
The cashier gave me a look & took the paperwork to the back to get permission from the manager.

*Thwart my attempts to get funds to my homies at Al-Qaeda
What do they care how many transactions you make lol. They probably get paid each time for doing it.

The thing that I find weird is amazon is about shopping online and home delivery....so why can't I just upload funds electronically?

Don't be ignorant. Read the terms.
There are no 'limited quantities' of the $5 credits. If you have multiple Amazon accounts, you can do this deal multiple times. And if you wait until November 29, you'll still get a credit, Amazon won't 'run out'. It's just limited to One time, Per account.

These offers have been available many times since Amazon Cash began in 2017(?). Just search SD for 'Amazon Cash CVS' to see previous threads.

You can buy gift cards and gift them to yourself. The difference is that you can't buy Amazon gift cards with cash online and there are lots of people without bank accounts let alone debit/credit cards (crazy, I know). And I'm guessing they have some deal with the stores that support Amazon Cash just to get more foot traffic into the stores (especially for ones that already sell Amazon gift cards like GameStop).

And yeah, asking for the manager as probably because no one knows about Amazon Cash...
