Thanks, I guess, but the participating stores are lame. Every time I have gone to gamestop, incompetent morons are working at them, regardless of location. The last time I went to pick something up, 1. they still had to go get it off a shelf, 2. they made me wait in one line, then he "went on a break" so said to go to the other line, then less than 2 minutes later was back and said to go to that line, THEN he was supposed to give me a free guitar to go with the RB game and he couldn't figure out how to scan it in the system to show he was giving it to me free so he just flat would not give it to me! Then he said he would call me, yet said have a ncie day without even asking my phone number.... I reminded him he didn't have it, so he reluctantly wrote it down and of course never called me to tell me I could have the guitar.

And that was just a typical visit there. Another time, I was going to get a second Switch at launch. They refused tot ell me how many they had, ie if I should get in the line or if it was a waste of time. They said I might just get lucky and them have enough for me and smiled.... Then I waited and waited and the line kept moving and then they came up to me and said the person in front of me would get the last one.

can you take the $30 back out once you get $5 credit?
I can't believe you actually asked this, both because it's unethical and because this site forbids advising how to commit fraud. Just keep the damn $30. You're going to spend it eventually, I assume.

I did this a year or two ago and got the $5. Does the "first time user" condition "reset" after a while? I actually bought $20 AC at a CVS the other day, to find out, as I had to buy some thing on Amazon soon anyway, and didn't get the $5. So I'm wondering if I add another $30 if I'll get it. Has anyone gotten it a 2nd time on the same account?

And no, doing THIS is not a scam, because I'm not going to try to get my $30 back.

Seems like a lot of work for $5 doesn't it?
Jeff Bezos would have made about $300 million in the span of time that it would take to do this.

Wow. Bragging about being greedy...screwing three others out of the deal...same ole, same ole stuff going on here on SD that's been going on for years. Privileged individuals that don't need these deals, at all, making deals like this go away for everyone. No wonder the great deals we used to get have gone away.
Dude...take the stick out of your.....
I didn't steal from the bread line and left kiddies without their meals.

It was a promotion that lasted days. Time limited not number.
If anything I took from billionaire Bezos.

Wait, people actually go to stores? What a waste of time, even without Covid concerns.

Yup. I miss the class of Fat wallet users. I wouldn't let half of these slickdeals users in my house.
