Not the lowest price this year, but decent price if you need it now. Some reviews mention the head doesn't lock in place which sounds annoying.

Good light, I've got two. One bought June 2019, one bought March 2020. Both heads lock in place.

One review mentions the newer version of this light (marked Type 2 on the information plate) is significantly brighter than the earlier lights. Is your newer light Type 2? If so, is it brighter?

paid $39 last June.

I use it, but not much. For example, doing brakes, inspecting behind the wheel, my other lights were too bright (eg 60W led bulb in this https://www.amazon.com/Bayco-SL-425A-Incandescent-Single-Outlet/dp/B000UEI5QM/)

Unless you want super long runtime of a 5ah battery, or you need it to tail stand very well (which the dewalt obviously does) a light like this (I don't own this) is probably better in most cases. https://www.amazon.com/Coquimbo-Rechargeable-360°Rotate-Flashlight-Inspection/dp/B07G9X19G1/

I paid under 40 for this a few months ago, but impressed in the quality for the price. Much better than the standard 1-led light included with most bundles.

I will agree with this statement. The head more than easily tilts back and forth and when you're trying to stand it straight up and tilt the head at a specific angle it usually will not hold it's own weight and go all the forward or backward. Wish it had a thumb screw tensioner.

Mine is 2 years old. Its my goto. I don't have a top tilt issue unless I use a small batter. My 4ah keeps it from tipping over and top stays in place.

I think I got it for 39. Definitely never seen it anywhere for 119

I have one and really like it. No tilt problems and no problems tipping over. It's a work light, not a spot light, so plenty bright for that purpose.

Bingo. My work has two of them and they get worse about this over time. The head is floppy and cannot hold its own weight. That aside, the light is bright and the battery lasts a good long time. In the end, I wouldn't recommend due to the head and sheer bulkiness. I find myself reaching for this guy the vast majority of the time.

I have one and love it. Depending on size of battery, it can be wobbly on not smooth surface. Aside from that, love it. Also, the metal loop up top pulls out and becomes a hang hook - I owned it for at least a year before I figured that out.
