Installed a 1tb version in a 2015 MacBook Air with sintech adapter. 1400/1400 r/w according to black magic. After awhile it does get warm on the bottom of the case, normal? Or anything I can do to fix?

Can anyone recommend cloning software? I would like to pop this in and transfer everything (including windows etc) is that possible or do I have to re-register software? thanks.
get ubuntu on a flash drive and boot from that. then install DDrescue and use that to clone. its the best way to do it.

Why is the 2TB still do damn expensive? You can get a Gen 4 for that price.

Or create a boot drive and reinstall Windows to this drive. It's a fairly simple process and you can keep all of your files. You will have to reinstall any apps and game clients.
How do you do this exactly?
