I was about to pull the trigger on this, waited a day, but luckily received shipment confirmation on Office Depot deal from 8/22. Finally they are shipping those AOC monitors
I got mine which is also ordered on 8/22. But the quality of the AOC monitor is really bad. It looks cheap. There is a vertical black line blinking on the screen. I contacted Office Depot, the guy told me the can not replace it since the item is currently out of stock. But they ask me to return it.

Is this a good entry 4k Monitor? I am coming from an HD 1080p Monitor and want to go 4k. My video card AMD RX 590 isn't that great, but I think it would manage, don't intend on gaming with my PC. I do want to connect the upcoming Xbox Series X and run at 4k @ 60 fps. Later my 1080p televisión will also get upgraded to a 4k 120hz minimum.

This should be excellent for your needs.

From another thread:
  • "27":27 inch
  • "U": commercial model, "B":business model
  • "K": year 2018, "L": year 2019
  • "650": features level, for business just remove the last zero. For example in UL series there are 500, 550, 650, 850, higher number means more features.
  • After dash - "W": white, "B":black
  • So 27BK67U-B may probably use the same panel as 27UK670-B, which should be the same panel of 27UK650-W but 670 has USB-C (while 850 has both USB-C and speakers)
  • The difference between K and L models is that in 2019 model they twisted to meet HDR400 standard, but possibly still the same panels with some adjustment. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...uk_series/

If K is 2018 model then how is this model new for 2020? https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg...ed-monitor

That depends on what software you're using too. We have to use lots of software at work in which the software vendor doesn't give a squat about updating their tools (such as Oracle SQL Developer) - so the icons in the software look super fuzzy when using it on a 4K panel - but looks totally fine if set to 100% scaling....but then at 100% scaling on a small 4K screen, everything else in Windows 10 looks very tiny. Corel Paintshop Pro X also looks bad on Windows scaling.
This is very true.

Visual studio and Microsoft office look great. Browsers look great.

I don't really use anything else long enough to worry about blurry icons bothering me.

I stick to my 27inch 1440p for Lightroom and photo editing.

I read this monitor scales down to 1440p without any effect on image quality.

yeah it should be. the main con that i see is the low refresh rate but then again that wont matter for the stuff u mentioned.

How big is the bezel on this? I'm torn between snagging two of these and spending a little extra to get something like the Viewsonic VX2776-4K or Dell s2721q.

THANK YOU!

It's really confusing otherwise. I don't understand why LG finds it necessary to have literally 20+ 27" 4K monitors. Just use 1 or 2 panels and have two or three feature sets.

It's like the manager of that product line read "Pricing Strategies for Dummies" and decided they wanted to go nuts with price discrimination by manufacturing every possible combination of features

Seriously, it's insane.

Btw I should have also added that, for whatever reason, the BK or BL models (business models) can often be found for less than the UK/UL consumer models. Ready for another mystery? They're the same exact monitors except the business come with a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year. You read that right. Less expensive with longer warranty.

Based on this I just picked up the 27BL850 for $425.
