That depends on what software you're using too. We have to use lots of software at work in which the software vendor doesn't give a squat about updating their tools (such as Oracle SQL Developer) - so the icons in the software look super fuzzy when using it on a 4K panel - but looks totally fine if set to 100% scaling....but then at 100% scaling on a small 4K screen, everything else in Windows 10 looks very tiny. Corel Paintshop Pro X also looks bad on Windows scaling.
Yeah, Windows has a long way to go regarding scaling. I run my 27" 4K LG at 175% scaling and it is common to see text just run past the edge of the window so that you can't read the rest of the label or sentence. No way to know what it says unless you temporary go back to 100% scaling. It's ridiculous.

Agreed, overwhelmed & confused...😞

I have read 27" for 1440p and a 32" for 4K resolutions...anyone willing to give their 2c?
If your purpose is gaming go for higher Hz even if it is little lower resolution.144hz is typical.

"What's the best monitor for PS5 or Xbox Series X? Right now, no monitors are available with HDMI 2.1, a new connection standard that unlocks 4K 120Hz HDR gaming over HDMI. If you're not interested in high refresh rate gaming, then any of our 4K monitor picks below will serve you just fine. Otherwise, we recommend hanging on for a little while longer or checking out our recommendations for the best 4K TVs for gaming, including several models with HDMI 2.1. "

Awesome, thanks OP! I just bought two of them. 😀

I already have an LG 27UD68 4K display that I've used for a few years, and it has been terrific.

I got this from the other slickdeals post a couple weeks ago

hdr content is very impressive on it

its being used as a mac mini monitor in 1440p scaled mode. my only complaint is that sometimes blue hyperlinks for some reason look really washed out like leaving a pen on a piece of paper too long and letting the ink bleed. i think this is going to go away when i switch to a display port cable... the problem got better or completely removed however when i turned off deep hdmi color in the settings.

overall i am happy with the purchase. i bought a 3 year square trade warranty for 49.99 after i decided i wanted to keep it.

no white light bleeding from any edges and no dead pixels on first try. cant say the same for the philips i bought on amazon for the same price.

Mine arrived DOA. Wouldn't project anything, two computers, two HDMIs, you name it.

LG sent instructions that included: try extending the monitor. Tried it 30 more times.

On its way back.

Recently purchased this and should be delivered on the 7th. I'll give a follow up on what I think about it right out of the box and functionality.

Update: 10-07-20
Setup was a breeze. Can only tilt up or down but not a problem as I have it mounted to a dual monitor mount. Scaling isn't a problem for me and picture quality is very sharp. I will be using this for watching movies, photo/video editing, and light gameplay. I have it scaled up 175% at 4k. I tested the stability of the stand and it does its job, the tilt feature has good tension so it won't gradually tilt downwards due to the weight. No dead pixels either and no blemishes whatsoever. Only issue is that it was delivered in the box that states exactly what it is, so if you want to make sure nobody grabs it off your porch or front door, be sure to be home and monitor the delivery.

I will give another update some time in the future but as of right now it fits my needs perfectly for size, resolution, quality, and affordability.
