There's also a 4-Ply option for $21.17 which may be the better deal as it's barely a dollar more. Works out as $0.067 per mask unless my math is worse than I thought.

For people that still confuse about wearing Bandana has the same effect as wearing 3-ply mask. Or wearing cheap face mask (that cause more air leakage and poorer filter) is the same as wearing high quality ASTM face mask, here is a study from University of Arizona-led research.
They assessed the ability of a variety of nontraditional mask materials to protect a person from infection after 30 seconds and after 20 minutes of exposure in a highly contaminated environment.

https://opa.uahs.arizona.edu/news...ials-masks

When the researchers compared wearing masks to wearing no protection during 20-minute and 30-second exposures to the virus, they found that infection risks were reduced by 24-94% or by 44-99% depending on the mask and exposure duration. Risk reduction decreased as exposure duration increased, the researchers found. Their study were focusing on masks protecting the wearer.
.....
"N99 masks, which are even more efficient at filtering airborne particles than N95 masks, are obviously one of the best options for blocking the virus, as they can reduce average risk by 94-99% for 20-minute and 30-second exposures, but they can be hard to come by, and there are ethical considerations such as leaving those available for medical professionals," said Wilson.

The next best options, according to the research, are N95 and surgical masks and, perhaps surprisingly, vacuum cleaner filters, which can be inserted into filter pockets in cloth masks. The vacuum filters reduced infection risk by 83% for a 30-second exposure and 58% for a 20-minute exposure. Of the other nontraditional materials evaluated by the researchers, tea towels, cotton-blend fabrics and antimicrobial pillowcases were the next best for protection.
.....
"Proper use of masks is so important," Wilson said. "Also, we were focusing on masks protecting the wearer, but they're most important to protect others around you if you're infected. If you put less virus out into the air, you're creating a less contaminated environment around you. As our model shows, the amount of infectious virus you're exposed to has a big impact on your infection risk and the potential for others' masks to protect them as well."

================

For people that using face covering but don't cover your nose (or don't wear it correctly), doesn't really offer any protection at all.
You wil not convince someone who thinks this virus is all a hoax while at the sametime doing a 180 and thinking 5g antennas cause this deadly virus. That's how delusional these people are.

Pretty good price. Before the pandemic I was paying $6.50 for 50 masks at a medical supplier. This works for me.

I wonder what would the percentage drop to for an hour long exposure to the virus.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Just looked at them and saw this:

"WARNING:
State of California Proposition 65: Warning. This product may contain one or more substances or chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer. www.p65warnings.ca.gov" [ca.gov"]

Sorry, but I think I need to pass, as I don't wish to be inhaling or being touched by carcinogens!

If that notice was not there, I'd snap-up some 4-ply in an instant!
(Unless someone can confirm that the warning only applies to the 3-ply ones, that is.)
I purchased a dish basin with that warning plastered on the packaging.

And as the price of 3-ply face mask get back to normal, I assume people should now buy based on quality and not quantity. Before Covid-19 started, when talk about 3-ply mask, people usually talk about deal for medical mask that mean US standard and not just any 3-ply mask.

Cheap mask usually didn't meet any standard. And probably their factory not certified by anyone. For no name brand, how do we know it made in clean and sanitize environment or make in some old factory space that used to make toys or other random made in China products that is not clean.

You get what you pay for by buying from random non-trusted brand for safety equipment that don't even know how clean the factory that produce this.
then don't buy. is that so hard?

At this price, these must be made in such a high volume at a large factory, a face mask factory would like have all their workers wearing masks as well. This factory makes up 3 million a day. Walmart isn't the only one selling these by the hundreds or thousands per box, times how many hundreds or thousands of orders. These are getting sold all over the world, not likely made at a toy factory.
Walmart is not selling these. "Sold & shipped by Priority Fulfillment Industry"

Not a fan of Texas.

But, seriously, why does anyone think that a CA prop. 65 warning is meaningless?

Yeah, probably pointing out that high heat seems to create a seemingly cancerous substance in food may be going a bit far, as that one's still a mystery, but the rest isn't a joke.

Don't bother to reply to me, anyone, as I don't care for LOL-ish comments on things... Just the facts, and only the facts, please if you want to reply.

There is only one group of people that are welcome in middle america now so don't worry, I don't want to live in that kind of environment. It disgusts me.

Great deal. I ordered them in black/white. The 4-ply are a bit thicker than your standard ones. Comes out around $3.35 a box (about 6¢ a mask). It's a great quality. Just ordered a couple of more orders. Way cheaper than buying in any B&M store, which usually sells a box of 50 for $10 - $15.
