Normally 11.49 at Walgreens but 8.99 on sale so this seems like a good deal!

I am not sure if it is a good comparison. You are comparing it to an overpriced pharmacy/convenience store. The regular price at even Randalls is $9.99. HEB has it for $6.99 all the time. Having sad that $5 is a good deal but honestly, maybe it is just me but these taste horrible. In Austin at Randalls it is $6.99 but Randall's app has a $2 off so it is $4.99.

after mis-ordering the lightly salted ones, I thought I'd give the salted one a try, ironically, they taste just like the light salted one, not like the salted ones that I remember from way back when, there should be a distinct difference.

it was like they used the same batch but the packing container was different
