Says in the description "This product can expose you to chemicals including Bisphenol A (BPA) which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm and Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm."

I know Californians are used to seeing this warning but I'm not from California so it kinda freaks me out from buying things with these warnings
I feel like I see that warning on almost everything, and I am in Ohio. According to California, everything is trying to harm or kill you. Not saying the warnings aren't accurate, but I don't know how to not be in contact with half of these items because that warning is seemingly everywhere except organic produce.

So this is just a piece of rope, right? Twenty feet of 1.5 inch rope for 34.99 on sale.

The creativity is strong in the world.
Where do you get your rope? Can you find 1.5" rope cheaper per foot? If so, people are looking.

I looked at the gymenist website to see what the workout with the rope looks like and they have no information about any workouts. Not impressed.

Don't eat it, you'll be ok.
No, the warning implies you wash your hands before eating

It's on literally everything made in or potentially sold in California. Prop 65 is a joke.

Just a couple of weeks ago I paid the "covid-19 tax" & bought a 30'ft battle rope for $65. Still worth it considering the time. But yes with gyms reopening all over I expect all this fitness equipment price gorging to start dropping...

I use a spare grab bar mounted low. I also use a kettle bell loop/handle when I use the rope in the yard.

I have 50' ropes in 1.5" and 2" that my wife and I alternate between and we use this anchor and storage hook combo that works really well. It requires drilling into a stud for obvious reasons. The hook can hold one set of ropes while the other sits on a nearly Gladiator hose hook. As far as the anchor goes, I've seen similar cheaper options on Amazon too. Other than that, an 80+ lb dumbbell or kettlebell works as a good anchor.

Seems the price of exercise equipment has peaked and may be inching down. This looks like a good deal once you reach the free shipping threshold.
Agreed on the price of gym equipment. I messed around and caught a 50 lb. slam ball for around $70 on Amazon this week. They're all between $120 and $150 now for the ones that are in stock. Now that I've built my garage gym, I'm going to keep adding pieces as they become available at affordable prices!

Yeah now that gyms are opening up price should start coming down all over as people no longer buying stuff for home.

Hell, next year probably see a ton of gym equipment for sale on CL.

Items that contain BPA and DEHP usually contain Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) as well. It's been proven that if you inhale too much DHMO, you can die. It's also known as hydric acid and is a major component of acid rain, it contributes to environmental erosion, and is found in tumors of deceased people. Nasty stuff.
