RedPocket cost includes all taxes and fees.
You pay no more than the agreed upon fee for 360 days.

We've been using RedPocket for 3 years. I've got the T-Moble variant. My wife has the Verizon variant.
Never problems with reception or drop outs. And mobile hotspot comes fully enabled.
Highly recommended.
For many of us, Ebay is now collecting State / County sales tax.
My state started sometime this past January / February (2020).
Since that time ALL of my purchases from Ebay have an additional line item
added to the order / invoice. It ADDS my state Tax cost to the purchase cost of item purchased.
I have purchased two 360 day Red Pocket plans (July and August), both
reflected the additional cost of State Sales Tax to Ebay's listed selling price.

Compared with other recent deals Red Pocket has had, this is just so-so. They recently had 5GB for $210, so here they're offering an extra 2GB for an add'l $30, with all the other aspects of service equal. I don't see that as anything to rave about, but it may appeal to some. Good that it was posted for those who may be interested.
Usually better deals around Black Friday. I got this same plan (with 5GB) for $195 last year around that time.

I used to get disconnects, sometimes as short as ten seconds, on my calls with Red Pocket's AT&T GSM, prepaid for a year.

Anyone experience similar with their Verizon and Sprint plans?
It works perfect, however there were issues with one line during setup. They were resetting sim card several times or at least that's why they claim.

I just noticed they bumped up the GSMA/CDMA/CDMAS plan (yes it also includes Verizon compatibility!) from 5 GB/month to 7 GB/month! I've been frequently going over my 5 GB with only a few days left each cycle so this would've been helpful. Checked my account online and it shows 7GB even though I activated 7/14/2020 Yay!

Annual- Unlimited Everything (7GB@4G LTE)

I did a search prior to posting and this deal did not come up, but I now see it's a repost. Delete or merge.
I have the Red Pocket 5GB plan too, and I see that my plan has been bumped up to 7gb. It didn't add to my current month, which resets on the 27th. Very welcome addition as I have to watch my usage the last few days of the month.
I have Verizon and have been very happy with RedPocket.

Looks sizzling but tbh dont know much other than i pay about $40 for unlimited thru vzn
Same here and I hate it. But i value network too much and feel in emergency I don't regret not paying few bucks for reliable network if I ever make a switch.

I do wish RP supported ESIM. I wouldn't mind adding a second line on a different carrier as a backup.

My year ended 3 years ago, and the constant disconnects were over 2 different phones. I've read about this being a fairly common issue; so when I moved over to Mint and Tmobile, I didn't look back.

But now Hello Mobile is reporting consistent performance, along with a very comparable rate; so I may commit long term with them.

I wish it was sooner!

I haven't done more testing on it. As a bandage for the time being I set up a Google Voice number for all my calls as a workaround.

I use a Google Pixel 3XL. I'll be reaching out to them this week to see if they are able to fix it
I see RP support is already on your case. . . At the least you need to make sure VoLTE and Wifi Calling are enabled.

If you're happy with Mint, why go to Hello Mobile? Are they that much cheaper to make it worth the switch? Especially when you have no headaches now? Just curious, nothing more.

Red Pocket is the worst thing I have ever dealt with. They couldn't port in my number longer than 48 hours. They just kept blaming on att which handed over my number to RP in a few hours. Finally they figured out what they were doing wrong and get it fixed but then I have cell and LTE signal on my phone but none of the services are working, no incomin or outgoing call/text and no data. They said they had done everything at their side and opend a ticket with the carrier which requires 24 pt 48 hr wating time. I had no phone services linger than 48 hr already and RP was saying wait another day or two and maybe I coudl get a working phone service again. I ported out to tello rightaway that resoted all services on my phone less then 6 hours with no call with Tello support.

I don't understand how come RP stay in business with this kind of level service and incompetent support team. MNVO support as not as good as the big carriers that is granteed but this type of service not acceptable. in 3 day I had to call them 5-6 times each lasted in hour or longer. huge wste of time. I'm glad I didn't jump on their annual plans. Evenif you can get refund after some fight through BBB, you won't be able to get refund for the tases paid through ebay.

I did reach you to them via direct message on Slickdeals right after they commented. Waiting for a response.

I'll keep the thread updated on how my issue progresses.

So YES, of course. We need to pay state's sales taxes on everything... almost everywhere now including eBay. Its a given, So I don't consider it for comparing prices.
We are at 8.5% now, BTW.

This is a pretty good deal if you are using Verizon. Many previous RedPocket deals have offered significantly less data if you were choosing Verizon. Lowest cost I've seen with RedPocket Verizon with that much data.

That said, Verizon can be had "unlimited" for just $25/mo for as long as their "party" concept keeps working, and the subreddit to find party goers remains active. I've spent less than 5 minutes total keeping a party going, and you don't even know who they are and don't share billing with them.

Customer service with RedPocket is a mixed bag. They helped me get hotspot active on my account with no trouble early on. But a recent experience has me avoiding RedPocket for the foreseeable future. I was in a place where I needed to add a lot more data than the 2 GB that was part of my annual plan, and called customer service to inquire if there was any way to upgrade to another plan during the course of an annual plan. Had they simply said, "No," I would have been fine with that. But their answer was literally "You need to call eBay." What? eBay isn't an MVNO, you are. "We can't provide customer service to you because you purchased on eBay. So call eBay." But .. it was RedPocketStore on eBay. I can't just call like 1-800-eBay and get RedPocket support. They'll think I'm nuts. Still, they persisted.

From Ebay listing...
"Contact Us
Please contact us via "Ask Seller a question"and we will respond within 24-48 hours. Any inquiries submitted on non-business days will be responded to by the next business day. Customer Service hours of operation are 8am - 5pm PST, Monday - Friday"

They probably have a tech group in the same company that deals with this exclusively I'm guessing, but that tech didnt get the memo I guess. Lol. Probably just routes you to some form of e-mail support specifically for Ebay accounts. (Just an assumption).

Tech probably should have told you this instead of (we cant upgrade your account) probably cause you are locked into a year contract.)

"Q - What if I run out of minutes/texts/data in the middle of the 30 day cycle? If you run out of your allotted credit per 30 day cycle, don't sweat, we don't charge pricey overages. However, you won't be able to use that specific service that was exhausted until your next 30 day cycle renews. So if you run out of minutes only, you could still text and surf the web. If you need more credit mid-cycle, we offer two options: a $2 and a $5 option. $2 option: 100 minutes or 100 texts or 100 MB of 4G LTE speed data $5 option: 250 minutes or 500 texts or 250 MB of 4G LTE speed data The credit does not roll over cycle to cycle so if you add 500 minutes with two days left before your 30 day cycle is over, you will only have two days to use the 500 minutes."
