I bought this back in May straight from Shark for $609 after taxes.. that was with a $150 discount and a lifetime warranty..
I can say, I absolutely love this thing and the self emptying feature works great. I empty it maybe once every 2 weeks and I have 2 cats and a medium size dog.. all 3 shed..

Any idea if the Costco version varies from this one?

Been looking for one of these. Not sure if the refurb for $300 or costco for $400 is the way to go. First robot vacuum, what's the reliability typically like on these?

How does this compare to something like a Roborock S4?

I would never ever buy a shark product ever. My last shark stick vacuum melted my outlet. Their customer service was so bad in helping to pay the cost. I had to call 10 times for them to finally acknowledge it and pay for the damage.

Knowing this is refurbished I would definitely walk away. If you really want it get it from Costco. You have a unlimited return window

I own the Shark IQ. The hardware works well. Quiet vacuum, good suction, and the base emptying feature is awesome. The hardware of those two seem comparable from the video reviews I've seen. The largest problem with the Shark IQ is the software. The App leaves a lot to be desired. I hope they continue to improve it because it's very basic.

Been waiting for a good deal on a new robot vacuum though last robot vacuum I got was a refurbished Neato from Woot in 2014 and it died 2 years later... Hesitant to go with another refurbished. Has anyone bought a refurbished Shark? Vacuum wars gave it a good review (though there's a question as to whether the guy was is biased as he mentions in the beginning of his video review he has done work for Shark). Very close to pulling the trigger..

do you happen to know what the warranty length is on the costco version? their website doesn't seem to have the info.

Anything at Costco is pretty much lifetime, you can always return it to them if there are any issues for a full refund
