If your .edu email address isn't listed on your Amazon.com account, that's OK. The only email we'll send to your .edu email address is the verification email.
If you don't receive the verification email, go to Verify Your Email and follow the steps to resend the confirmation email. To prevent your Amazon.com email from going to your spam or junk folder, add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts or safe list.
Current Amazon Prime members who sign up for Prime Student will receive a refund for the remaining months left on their current Amazon Prime subscription. You'll no longer have access to certain Amazon Prime benefits during your six-month trial, such as Kindle Owners' Lending Library, unless you sign up for a paid plan.
In addition to free Two-Day Shipping on eligible purchases, you'll also receive unlimited streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows through Prime Video, unlimited ad-free access to hundreds of Prime Playlists, Prime Stations, and more than a million songs at no additional cost through Prime Music, access to unlimited photo storage through Prime Photos, and Student-exclusive deals and discounts. In addition, you get access to Twitch Prime, a collection of benefits on Twitch.tv, including free games and game content and exclusive emotes. You also receive one free Twitch channel subscription during your no-cost trial, and one every 30 days as a Prime member.
Prime benefits received through Prime Student can't be shared. If you're switching from a regular Prime Plan to a Prime Student plan and are currently sharing your benefits, you can't continue sharing your benefits with those individuals. If you're the primary Amazon Prime membership holder and have previously shared shipping benefits, you'll continue sharing those benefits with anyone you're currently sharing with when you sign up for Prime Student.
