Got the 2020 Bolt back in January when Chevy was having a huge discount sale. Got a great deal. I will say it's one fun car to drive. Make sure you use sport mode you can spin the tires incredibly easy because of the electric torque.

Sooooo. I was actually at a dealership yesterday and they one got a 1 star from me on google review for telling me a price that wasn't true.

Essentially you can get a base model for around $21k before taxes. I'm looking at a base model with drivers confidence packages (1 and 2) for around 22k if they don't add on their stupid $2,500 "accessory bundle that's mandatory and not included in final price I see online their site. The associate I spoke to at a different location two hours ago said he would give me a call right back with his bottom price after talking to a manager and still haven't so I think they just want me to go away.

I'm getting annoyed though because the first Chevy-owned dealership I visited yesterday (not a franchisee) said the deal stacked with costco and said the costco discount wasn't already included in the price and then when I got there they were like "oh whoops it was, our bad" when I asked multiple times. They said "we really want to make a deal with you" and I'm like, okay, sell me the car for $20k. They were like, How about this, we'll sell you the car for $25k but we'll give you $5k for trading in you car. That means you're only paying $20k. Then they said something along the lines of, how about we take $25 off each month's payment, but instead of paying it in 60 months you pay it in 80? Then I said give me my keys and I left.

And that's why I haven't even thought about purchasing a car in 7 years haha.

No clue about this deal but back in Jan I got the 2020 bolt premier with pretty much all the features and 3rd level fast charging for $28500. Sold my existing car to carvana for $2800 more than what the dealerships were going to pay me. So two great deals plus Texas rebate and federal tax credit. Overall great deal. Glad I pulled the trigger.

Ouch. So sorry to hear. I had a similar experience a while back, so my lesson learned is to only do car deals over email. Worst case, I take the email and sent to another dealership for them to match. In another more recent experience, I went through TureCar.com and got exactly what I wanted (toyota sienna van LE model) with minimum upsell (a $250 upgrade).

Yeah, the last time I purchased a car was early 2014 and I got a great deal (well below blue book value) because it was the only Kia on the lot for a Honda dealership and they just wanted it gone. I've barely put any work into it but thought I found a good deal on the Bolt and it proved false. lol.

Is this for San Francisco Bay Area only? Or for Dallas Fort Worth as well. Thank you

So essentially $12,900 off for SF residents? I was reading that people were able to do $6,000 - $8,000 up front payment and no monthly lease after all rebates (in earlier bolt deals). Anything under $150/month would be great.

All areas will get the Costco incentives. However, certain areas like SF Bay and others have extra local incentives that pushes the purchase and lease deals even lower. Hope this helps.

Just got a one lease payment on a LT driver confidence 1, 36 mo 10k, for 5600 from Steven's creek Chevy in San Jose this included current lease discount (2017 bolt LT) and supplier credit. Awesome service, they delivered car to my home and signed paperwork. I would highly recommend Tony Vu. I shopped at 10 other dealers and by far the easiest and best. Negotiating was pretty straight forward via email. After I get the 2k CVRP and electric discount $540, paying 3k for a 36 month lease of a fun to drive car.

Don't take this harshly but 100% your fault for going to a dealer without a purchase agreement signed prior to going in. Handle everything via phone/email. Just wasting your time if you try and "negotiate".

Yeah the first dealership I spoke with on the phone. This is the first time I've been looking in 6 or 7 years so I'm a tad rusty haha
