Just an FYI if you're a Costco member they sell the 50 eshop card for 45$ all the time.
Can you use these to pay for the Xbox pre-order in the morning?

If you buy from the Microsoft Store, you should be able to use the Microsoft cards as payment. Obviously not if you're ordering from Amazon or Best Buy, etc.

That said, if you're worried about availability, you're probably best not trying to split your payment and complicate checkout...

Limit three, though, and I don't know when that resets, if ever. I can't buy one since I've already bought three (probably more than a year ago?).

Huh. It never prevents me from checking out, but my order always gets canceled within an hour. Are you buying in-store?

How in the world do I get that activated? I have been trying for weeks and each time their site redirects me saying something went wrong and then signs me out.

Nope online only. I do semi recall a year or two ago having an ordered canceled but I think that may have been a credit card thing. I have seen the limit but I thought that was just a per order thing because it's digital codes.

I tried two different credit cards about a month back with the same result. Maybe something else was going on but I've bought other items without issue...

I started to wonder if I somehow slipped through the cracks and I'd love a 3rd person to chime in but I just read some reviews of the eshop cards and there's a few people saying they had the same problem as you and had to call them to buy them manually
