So I did the promo, booked a flight last Saturday, flew, and still haven't received an email yet confirming I've got the CP for that time period. I know the SD post says SW will send the email after 15NOV...but I don't want to wait that long to find out if I for sure have it or not. Going to call SW Monday to see if they can tell me.
Have you logged into your SW account to see if it shows? I logged in and mine says I've flown 25/100 to qualify for CP. I haven't flown on my flight yet but I wonder if it would reflect on there.

Also, some have said yes and no to cancelling and using travel funds for being eligible. I actually rebooked my flight so who knows if I'll get it. Maybe someone can update if they did the same and have flown already. My flight isn't until 11/6

I don't know if this helps anyone, but my wife and I booked an 8 hour day trip to Portland during the promotion period. Our flights changed and would cut the day trip to 3 hours. We got an email that said we had 3 days to change the flights free of charge within 14 days before or 14 days after the original flight. We changed our flight reservations within the travel period to qualify for the CP, but when I read the fine print, I called to see if we'd still qualify for the CP offer. Because I made the change to the reservation tonight, this is past the reservation window of 9/25/20 when the promotion ended. We ended up getting a refund rather than travel credit, but we are bummed we missed out on the companion passes due to flight changes beyond our control that wouldn't have been worth taking.

I'm in the exact same scenario, they changed my flight times to something that definitely won't work (giving me 30 mins to get to my return flight after landing).

I'm really hesitant on changing my initial flight since I also read that in the terms if you modify your reservation you can get disqualified from the promo.

Did you try contacting Southwest to see if changes to your itinerary due to Southwest's change in flight schedule would impact your eligibility for the promo companion pass?

Good deal for those that got it and it stayed that way. I have a similar situation with my roundtrip flight. Both flights were changed to a different flights, and it was after the promotion's deadline. The new flights don't work, they are twice the time, to basically fly to a connecting city and sit on the plane. Instead of the 2.5 hours, the "flying time" will be 6. Funny enough, both of the original non-stop flights are still available on the website, but for a different price. This is a bait and switch, from where I am sitting. I may still call to just have them give me a reason, curious what it's supposed to be. Shame on them.

I'm in the same boat. Southwest changed my flight schedule to 2 stops which tripled my flight time, and the non-stop flight I was originally booked on is no longer a planned route until next year. I called and waited almost an hour to speak with an agent. She told me if I changed my flight, the origin and destination airport have to be the same to still qualify for the companion pass promo. Given COVID, I don't want to be on a plane longer than I have to be, so I requested a full refund, and Southwest went ahead and processed the request (takes up to 30 days) even though I booked a non-refundable flight. They accommodated the refund because it was a change in their schedule.

Hey there! Very glad you reached out about this promotion. Once register, your flight must be booked using a credit card in order to qualify. Those vouchers can be used on other flight, but this has to be booked with dollars. -Alice

What about half voucher and half credit card payment? Also, can u confirm if these vouchers are still good?-me

Sorry, only dollars can be used for this flight. Any other form of payment will disqualify the flight from this promotion. -Alice
I called them recently and was told that my cash/voucher purchase DOES qualify for the pass and that they will be emailing it to me after Nov 15. Whew! As long as SW saw cash out of the deal we are apparently fine.

I used a couple vouchers that were to compensate me for some luggage they broke. It could be possible other situations are different, but I'm confident I qualified.

I personally have not received any email or notification on the status of the Companion Pass. Did anybody receive theirs?

I flew on 11/11 with my niece. I received an email today confirming I earned my companion pass. No such email to my niece's email address. I called prior to booking and they said she should be eligible (she's 12) so we'll see...

Similar situation here. I flew last month with my two sons, ages 13 and 8. We all use my email address, but I only received two email messages confirming companion pass award. In my emails from Southwest, it doesn't specify which of the three of us got the pass, and there doesn't appear to be a way to check on our accounts online. I'll continue to monitor. Maybe they're sending confirmations out in batches?

I got my companion pass as well. Prior to promotion had a flight booked. Canceled that flight and rebooked it at a $15 higher price using $$ and travel funds.
