When they marked it down from $3000 to $399 I wasn't interested, but at $398 I might take a look.
😂
Yes!! I'm definitely on a budget. I wonder if it will be $299 during the holidays.
Lol@ $3000 original price
Probably pay for itself in electric in a few years.

I got the 43 " Sceptre in March and have been using it as a 4k monitor for 6 months. Works awesome so I would expect this one to be a good buy as well. Basic - doesnt have any of the high end features - but for a simple tv to throw a Roku on it could really help. Times are tough so not much budget to get the super cool stuff...

Junk!!
Excellent TV...great picture and sound, had around 8 Sceptre's from 24-65" over the past 10 years, but yeah look elsewhere if you are a snob, and like to overpay for electronics to boost your low self worth.

Yes that's what the description on the Walmart page says. For this price, I'd say go for it. Turn on developer options, turn off unnecessary stuff and should be fine.

This is a pretty interesting entry level tv! I bought the previous model a couple of years ago and it is still kicking. It looks like this has android tv built in! I have been poking around trying to find the specs for the android tv part, but they are not easy to find. I guess I need to wait for someone to buy one and review it. I was hoping it would be at least as fast as a mi box, but there is no telling. It may have a rockchip cpu, who knows. Probably good enough for nes emulation. The only info I could find was on the 55" model here

Looks like a va panel, and it has a bluetooth remote which is nice to not need line of sight.

You've had 8 different tvs in 10 years? Mine usually last 10 years each. ( minus the one my 9 year old smashed with the wii remote while bowling haha)

I have a 64 inch Samsung Plasma over the mantle that weighs a ton but has a great picture albeit only 1080p. Debating replacing it with this for the 4k and smart tv functionality. Decisions Decisions.

i bought the 75" sceptre 4k 60hz non-smart model from early 2017 for $1,100 and couldn't be happier. have had no issues whatsoever using this no frills budget display for bedroom netflix movie watching 5-6hours a week past 3 years, and will say the main selling point is it's got deeper blacks than an entry level 75" LG 4k trumotion 120hz (simulated 120hz) smart model i got end of 2018 for $1,300. as with any TV i'd recommend going in-store and seeing it in person first. throw on a really dark scene cuz that seems to be where budget panels are lacking. and if it looks good.. at $400 and 65" you can't go wrong
