my sis works for corporate apple, she's gonna apply for the internal employee discount and buy it and give it to me free. Much needed upgrade from my apple watch 3.
Looking for info on watch size vs band (wrist size). I actually prefer the smaller face (not a "big watch" guy). But then I saw on the Apple page that there is a different wrist size range so concerned that the 40mm might be too tight. I am male 5'11 200lb with I'd say "normal" size wrists for my size. But I don't really want the big honkin' watch face.
Also how can they justify $200 for different band options unless they are actually real gold and silver!

Do all of the models come with cellular ?
Nope. If this is your first Apple Watch, you probably don't need it. Ask around and get some opinions.
Had it before. Didn't really use it. Won't buy it again.
If your iPhone is within Bluetooth range you can do 100% of the same things. For me, the only use case where I would want cellular is if I were taking a long hike - e.g., overnight backpack trip in the Rocky Mountains. But, in that situation, I would always want to have my phone as a backup. It would be nice to have both for emergencies.
If you wanted to listen to music, it's easy enough to just copy a playlist to your watch - for like a long run. Maybe there's a situation you need to listen to live streams when you're not near your phone - maybe a stock trader?
I think the person who needs cell capability in their Apple Watch is the fitness nut who's so important that they need to take calls anytime, anywhere, and not mind using a speakerphone. Sooooo, maybe a surgeon or a CEO of billion dollar company.
For me, I would rather listen to the podcast on 1.5x speed later.
I cannot imagine why I would ever buy the cellular feature in my watch.
I love my Apple Watches. I've owned one since they were introduced. I just bought the 6 space grey aluminum. Looking forward to the added features of the 6.

She doesn't need to apply. Park of the perks. She can just login and use your credit card to pay for it. You just need to go pick up at the Apple Store. I am still on watch 1 and been doing 15-20 miles hike every weekend mountainous areas. This is tempting especially with barometer.
