I always wondered why more cables weren't made this way. Less stress on the charging port and less likely to damage it.

I'm sure the cable is more focused on the light then actual charging ability. Spend the extra money on Anker, it'll last longer and charge more than likely quicker.

Stay away!!!!!!!
I bought these last week and when you connect the cable to your phone it falls off!
The magnet is very week. You have to put the phone down so slowly that makes it useless. I tried the other connectors and same thing

Get anker. Lifetime warranty for some cables or crazy 2 warranty for the really cheap ones. No hassle in getting replacements and they charge faster if you have a charger that does more amps like 2.4a

I bought it last week as well. The blue color is cool. My magnets held. You just can't be rough with it while charging because the magnet will disconnect. So far, the item works as mentioned.

I bought a few of these from Aliexpress (about $3 a cable with one connector). I hate them.

The magnet isn't strong, so you have to make sure they stay connected when you put the device down. But worse... they light up when only the USB end is connected. I wanted them to light up when a device was charging, not all the time.

I tried one in my kids room to charge an iPad. I was told it's too bright, it lights up the room at night.

Interested, but I'm not seeing anything specifying the length of the cable.
Looks to be 1m (3'3") in the review pics.

The magnetic tip stays in your phone all the time. So if you use a different cable at any point in the day, at work, in the car, etc, then you'll need magnetic cables there as well. Pulling the tip out and putting it back in over and over is a royal PITA.

Secondly, we all know cable length and wire gauge are critical to charging speed. Cheap garbage cables are everywhere. So how well built must this cable be to not only charge your phone at full speed, but light up flashy LEDs with it? You think this random cable is up to that task? BTW, one of the reviews with photos states this exact problem.
