Will this filter/clean up "dirty power" from a non-inverter generator? And make safe/usable with sensitive electronics?

yes, that is what the "AVR" feature does. There's also a slightly lower power capacity version (shorter run time on battery) for ~$99 they sometimes stock in warehouse that has that feature. Battery life is about 3-5yrs before needing replacement (not runtime on batteries, which varies based on what you are running but generally 5 minutes to maybe up to 2hrs if you had something low power like a cable modem / router). . I believe this model (and similar 800VA+ models) uses 2x of the sealed lead acid batteries, they run about $30-40 each.

I found what you meant: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1.
Remember past holiday pricing doesn't mean they will repeat that.
It was 2 years in between good prices per Camels. I bought one 2017 holidays deal on 11/27 for $117, and yes it went for $130 last holidays. I would definitely not call that "usually".

Amazon doesn't carry the CST1500S (https://www.cyberpowersystems.com.../cst1500s/). The closest available there appears to be the CP1500AVRLCD (https://www.cyberpowersystems.com...500avrlcd/).

Both provide 1500VA / 900W of Capacity, Line Interactive Topology, USB/Serial Communication, Network & Coax Protection, PowerPanel Personal Interface, Energy Star Certification, $500K Connected Equipment Guarantee, and 3-Year Warranty. The former has only 10 outlets that provide Sine Wave output (identical to or cleaner than the commercial power, providing low total harmonic distortion, minimal electrical noise, and optimal line clarity) vs 12 on the latter that provide Simulated Sine Wave output (more cost-effective battery backup for equipment that doesn't require sine wave output).

The $99 one is 1350VA and doesn't have pure sine wave.

With a power generator, I have to switch the sensitivity to low or else it keeps switching back and forth from the battery as if it's confused.

The one they were mentioning was the 1500VA / 1000W model on Amazon. Took me a few to figure it out, but the camels bear out the price history mentioned (just don't hold your breath for a repeat of last years $130 on a one day deal) as it took 2 years since the 2017 one day deal I scored one on.

See my above post for the link and price history.

Not yet AFAIK. The snail mail online-only offers for members booklet hit my mailbox last night.

I wouldn't use "usually".
It was another 2 years before that sale at Amazon.
And the sale were usually from BH photo which made it an exceptional deal for not NY and NJ, but now they also charges tax for other states.

And this Costco model seems doesn't have the updated USB-C port (and look) of the regular store one (CPLCD)

Just a note for folks thinking about using these for the AVR portion on a non-inverter generator. I've burned through two of these exact models while the AVR was struggling off the generator after a runtime of several hours. You'll know because you'll smell ozone when the UPS shuts off for good. It really struggles with brownouts.

These sure have gone up in price. I still have 2 that I bought 4 years ago for $100 from Costco
