I got the double arm two months back for full price and had no issues so far. They even survived a 4.6 magnitude earthquake.

When I was setting up my home office I had two of these dual mounts, the inner arm holding one monitor each and the outer arm I built an L shaped adapted to set speakers on. It actually worked great and these are sturdy as hell, but ultimately I realized I wasn't moving monitors at all so gas strut style monitor arms are pointless and I went to a more stable single pole on each side clamp method.

Would definitely recommend them if you move or rotate your monitors at all though. The stickers are just as horrible as people are making them out to be but nothing a piece of electrical tape and an xacto knife can't solve.

I have the double arm version on my side. One thing it excels at is creating a sitting/standing desk hybrid! I grabbed a Vesa to Laptop tray, which works bril!

Right now, when my legs get tired of sitting for x hours straight, I just pull the laptop arm up and voila! Standing setup in a jiffy!
10/10 would buy again!

I got this one:

Holds my 10lbs, 15'' Asus Rog Strix well Smilie You definitely can't push on it, as it's a tad wobbly, but I can work standing just fine!

Bought a single pole two monitor mount a few months ago and regretted it. If i want to move the monitors up and down, i have to use an allen wrench to adjust it. A big PITA. Hoping this mount will give me some more freedom with adjustments at will.

I will respectively disagree - you regulate the tension of the arm with the screw. Tighten it to limit the movement, loosen it up for it move freely. Unless you have sth ultra-heavy it shouldn't be a problem. As mentioned above - I use mine for hybrid standing/sitting desk, easily moving it without using th key. Try playing around with the initial setup.

How much clearance do you need behind desk if using clamp and have desk against wall? Is it fully adjustable on the fly without needing tools?

Does anyone have had any of the other brand such as Vivo, Mount Up/Pro, EleTab, ErGear? They are all probably coming from same factory, but some have better warranty than others.

I think it's a clamp. If so, you can reinforce it by clamping it to your desk+a small piece of wood.
