Ended up getting the double since the s3220dgf is 16lbs and this supports up to 19. Hopefully the arms move far enough apart to accommodate both of them, but I'll have a 27" on the side oriented vertically

I got this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

Holds my 10lbs, 15'' Asus Rog Strix well Smilie You definitely can't push on it, as it's a tad wobbly, but I can work standing just fine!
I was wondering if the best laptop tray would work well with ipads. I wanted to install an iPad to a vesa mount. Ideas?

You don't have to buy everything at Amazon, or something just because it's supposed a great deal at $5 off. Try deskits.com and you will find multitudes of monitor stands, probably exactly what you need and maybe even cheaper than this. This was your tip of the day!

How much clearance do you need behind desk if using clamp and have desk against wall? Is it fully adjustable on the fly without needing tools?

Does anyone have had any of the other brand such as Vivo, Mount Up/Pro, EleTab, ErGear? They are all probably coming from same factory, but some have better warranty than others.
Yes, I bought my 4-monitor Vivo from deskit's.com. it was $65 shipped, and amazingly sturdy for 2 x 27's and 2 x 24's

Can you remove an arm of you buy the duel arm? Currently have dual monitors from work during COVID. IF I go back to work I may be going back to just one monitor (for now). Love having the option to back to duel in the future but don't want an arm in the way if not in use.

I have both the dual and single arm mounts of this brand. I bought them for $39.90 (dual) and $21.90 (single) in April of 2018. I've been using them for a couple of years now with no issues. I recommend these and this is a good price for them. I also have a few from other brands and these seem comparable. My only complaint is that I'm not a big fan of the huge yellow logo, but you can't really see it once it's set up so it's not really a problem.
For the dual arm model, can you remove the arms?

Serious question...what is the advantage to this over the typical monitor stand?

Is the one with the pole better or the clamp directly to desk better?

Nevermind its still up.

HP ZR2740 - 23.1 lbs.

Fits most 17''- 27'' Monitors with the load from 4.4 -19.8 lbs (2-9KG) for each monitor

Aww. Not strong enough.
Monitor is apparently 17 lbs.
Stand is 5 lbs.

I bought the dual monitor couple years ago and worked well. The only issue is that you have to have a desk with an edge to use this. Will not work in the middle of the desk.

Anyone knows any good mounts to mount monitor top and bottom.
Like one on top and other right below it.

Thanks.

Just note if you put it against the wall, you can't put 24in monitors side by side. The elbow of the arms need space behind the desk to move the monitors together

My problem has always been finding a dual monitor arm that gets the monitors high enough to be ergonomic. There's an answer on Amazon that says the max height from the VESA mount to the desk surface is just under 10"—can anyone who has the dual arm version confirm this? That's not quite enough for me; I'd want it closer to 18-20".

You get more desk space and better cable management.
