rebate. No thanks.
The "rebate" is a coupon for free accessories and not related to the price of the phone. No rebate is necessary to get a net $600 price for the phone.

Tons. But all Samsung related which I prefer to third party bloat. Obviously some third party already pre-installed. But I don't think Sammy is different. Bloatware sucks. Just try to delete or disable what you don't need.

awesome value for the specs and abilities of this phone & software... AND it will get at least 3 years of OS updates AND you can add up to 1TB sd card. Samsung is really bringing it now!

Although this is a 5G phone, note that it WILL NOT work on Verizon's high frequency 5G network (you need the 5G ultra to get the crazy fast speeds that 5G supposedly promises). You'll get 5G but not the crazy fast 5G that everyone is excited about.

Where does this fall in the S20 lineup? I tried to compare at Samsung, but they don't have tech details on the phone in compare mode. Is the Samsung answer to the stripped down iPhone? Is it something else? (Man...how many variants do we really need.....)

Basically around the same size as the s20+. Comparable cameras. Less ram though and some specs slightly lower (ram, no high rez screen, etc).

$199 with my Note 10 trade in, really tempting. It's pre-order though, so how long do they give you to mail it back in, and does that clock start after delivery of the new device? Not looking to get stuck without a phone for untold amount of time.

Oops never mind, found the fine print:

Quote :
Anticipated trade-in value will be applied as a credit at time of purchase, but, if you do not send your Trade-in Device within 15 days of receiving your new device, you agree to reimburse Samsung for the full trade-in value that was applied to your purchase. If you send a Trade-in Device, but Samsung determines that your Trade-in Device does not meet Samsung's eligibility requirements for your selected Trade-in offer, you agree to reimburse Samsung for the trade-in value that was applied to your purchase. You authorize such charge to be made on the same payment method, or the same Samsung Financing offer if applicable, used for this transaction.
So you have 15 days to send the trade-in after receipt of the new device, assuming the trade-in passes muster.

Is 3 years of updates new for Samsung? As of last generation they only did 2 years, so I didn't know if they've been trying to improve this or not
