Only two at first Target. There's a separate bar code they scanned. No activation.

At second Target, listed at 25/ea there wasn't a separate bar code and they couldn't check me out. They sent me to customer service. Target customer service also tried to scan with no success. Manager came by to tell me they cannot sell it. I shared that the other Target sold me two 30m earlier. The manager told me I could have the two I was trying to buy, that they are worthless without activation, and suggested I bring them to the other Target to purchase.

Receipt from first Target shows I have until 10/11 to return. My current Sprint plan expires on 10/19.

Any advice?
If you just want to check it out, without activating, you can try

https://www.redpocket.com/activate#

and enter the sim number (ICCID) and it will indicate if it is indeed a 3 month 5gb plan.

Is this just for one phone line or multiple? Basically you can only use one per phone number you're porting in. If you don't care about losing your number, go ahead and activate one. Then within 90 days activate another with a new phone number. If you need for only one phone line, I don't suggest you buy more than two.

Same happened here: wouldn't scan. Kept my receipt
You should return. My rep threw 20+ of these in front of me. They are like gift cards, no value unless scanned. He patiently scanned all for me and sold the only one which he was able to scan.

I had that happen when I tried to buy it at the self checkout and it kept saying wouldn't activate, I took it back to electronics and had them ring it up and it went thru fine.

Did you try chat?
Update: after two more calls and 4 hours later they got it figured out. Don't know what the issue was, but working now.

Did they scan the SIM card number too? Is there an activation confirmation on your receipt?

No, the receipt just says REDP3MONTH $24.99
Return by 10/11/20
I went to the page posted earlier and it came up as 3 month 5gb and said login to your account to activate.

Found 4 at my local Target in SF Bay. When I went to check out in Electronics items wouldn't scan. They said we'll have problem activating it-- so they took off the shelves rather than have angry customers calling them after.
