Log into your account on Sprint, and you should see a blue line offering to allow you to add a line for $0 per month.

Click through and choose the Samsung S20FE.

You will then be asked if you have a trade in. Select no, and you will see an offer to get the phone for $29.17/Mo, with a $29.17/Mo recurring credit.

Add the phone to your cart and you are all set.

For some reason, there was a glitch in the system when I did it, and I had to call phone sales to complete my order. I spent a lot of time with the rep, and ultimately her supervisor confirming that A) I would not pay the $20/Mo line fee, and that B) I would receive the $29.17/Mo credit

T-Mobile is not doing this.

T-Mobile is offering a generous $500 trade-in on a list of phones as old as the S7, in good condition.

Adding a line on top of this covers the remaining $200, making the phone $0 + tax + value of phone you traded in.

EDIT: Part of this was incorrect info I got from an agent.

Here's all the correct details:

$500 off with trade-in
or
free with adding a line
but
cannot be stacked with the free line promo that ended on the 24th

Got it. That makes sense. Thanks

No problem. I WISH THEY WERE! The Sprint version is much better.

Actually, I don't know why they're running separate promotions, if they've merged and all.

I add a line with T-Mobile and I got it for free. It popped up in my account. I did not trade anything.in.

Verified via chat that you can get this offer if you already have a free line reserved previously as well. Must call in however to have an associate set it up correctly for discounts to apply.

I took advantage of the add a free line promo Monday morning. With that, I took advantage of getting the LG velvet half off, that required adding a line.

I got the phone on Wednesday. I don't hate it, but I don't love it.

I'm in Twitter chat right now with a T-Force agent asking if I can return the LG Velvet and get the S20FE instead.

I'd be very happy if the free line I added Monday morning satisfied that part of the S20FE promotion, and on top of that, I didn't need to trade in a phone to get it for $0.

I followed these steps but it leads me to add a monthly plan and does not let me add just the free line... do you have to select a plan??
