Just purchased one. I was highly considering getting one a few months back, but the price point for them were $50-70. A lot of reviewers are noting that these type of no-touch thermometers are fairly inaccurate, but for $15 it's worth a shot. Thanks OP!

Possibly due to the fact that reviews posted on a product page should be more about the actual product, not shipping damage, about the seller, or other random information.

Personally, I get somewhat frustrated when I check out reviews to see if the product is quality, but everyone is complaining about a shipping problem, a bad customer service experience, or that they had an issue with the return process.

Read 40 reviews, still no clue if the product itself is of quality.

Just assumptions on that though.
It kind of balances out with some of the fake reviews. :-)

I was looking at cases for unreleased iPhones. They have a dozen+ 5 stars reviews already.

It is hard to trust Amazon any more, the 2-day shipping for Prime is not 2-days any more it can be 2-5 days. I posted a review for an expensive headphone saying it broke buy something else, Amazon told me it's not going to post it. How do you trust what is being sold there anymore?
My biggest problem with Amazon is the sheer amount of cheap overseas crap they push. Lots of those products are backed by tons of shill reviews and has to make you wonder if Amazon is willingly letting it happen.

Why not. For 15 I'll roll the dice. Test it to confirm it is somewhat accurate, and if it is more than a degree off either way I'll send it back as defective.

It's saying the coupon is not valid. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

While I don't have experience with a lot of touchless thermometers, the forehead scanning ones tend to be pretty bad. I have the Exergen forehead one and it's absolute crap. It is so inconsistent and routinely reads a few degrees lower than my ear thermometer. If there's sweat on the forehead or you don't get a good swipe, it throws off the measurement. Fortunately, the one in this post is only touchless for the forehead. It also has an ear probe, which in general is more accurate.

Please make sure that you're only using the actual letters and numbers.

I do that, and still says the coupon cannot be added to my purchase.

I recall someone having the same issue in another thread and this was the solution the user shared.

How can we separate the chill review vs the real review?

Maybe try microwave or a space heater to remove chill reviews.

C4X4GCKD if it still doesn't work, perhaps the deal has ended.
