While I don't have experience with a lot of touchless thermometers, the forehead scanning ones tend to be pretty bad. I have the Exergen forehead one and it's absolute crap. It is so inconsistent and routinely reads a few degrees lower than my ear thermometer. If there's sweat on the forehead or you don't get a good swipe, it throws off the measurement. Fortunately, the one in this post is only touchless for the forehead. It also has an ear probe, which in general is more accurate.
I have a cheap $15 or so one from Amazon and it reads my temp more or less correctly at 98-98.7 ever since I got it about a month ago. Also reads temp of my ice drink correctly as well.

$15 is kind of expensive

Also this is the old style grip versus the newer pistol type grip.

I'm a fan of the Dikang and HG-01 and Genial (if you want to be super fancy)

I would steer clear of the no brand stuff on amazon. You really shouldn't be getting anything that isn't a Dikang or Genial or an Hg01 as the electronics will just die in the heat. I've seen so many of those knock off ones go out when used outside.

There are good chinese brands and there are a lot of bad ones don't get untested brands if you are trying to rely on something for entry into your business.

I should have challenged since there was nothing hateful except don't buy it. Why would amazon post something which says don't buy it?

After I saw your post, I tried it myself, and I ran into an error message saying coupon couldn't be applied. This was on firefox. I opened Chrome and tried it again. This time, the same error message was displayed, but the discount did apply. Amazon must be having some kind of glitch. I'd say try a different browser or clear cache.

It is hard to trust Amazon any more, the 2-day shipping for Prime is not 2-days any more it can be 2-5 days. I posted a review for an expensive headphone saying it broke buy something else, Amazon told me it's not going to post it. How do you trust what is being sold there anymore?
I have had almost 300 orders delivered this year and I don't remember a single one taking over two days if that is what was stated.

$50 is a joke, see these for 20 all the time. I guess saving 5 is nice. I always wonder where you guys find the coupon codes

I usually see $12 on these, but that's the prices casinos usually pay

I agree that original price is overrated. Kinda reminds me of Kohl's 40% off coupon that comes around once in a while. Still ends up being cheaper, so I always go for it.

On a side note, that looks very similar but seems like a different product. Buttons are very different and the weight is different also. The product in your link is 4.97 ounces while this one is 3.84 ounces.

Since so many of you are asking this question, I'll share a secret. Sometimes I add whatever % off I'm looking for like 50%, but it's hit or miss. Probably better not to limit results like that since some of them are $ off, not % off. I hope this helps.
  1. Go on to Google Search.
  2. Type in or copy & paste: [ "enter code * at checkout" site:amazon.com intitle: ]
  3. Add the product you want i.e. (camera) so it will be: [ "enter code * at checkout" site:amazon.com intitle:camera ]
  4. Click Search, a list of Amazon cameras which offers a coupon code.
  5. Click the tools tab, and a (Anytime) and (All time) will appear,
  6. Click the (Any time) tab, and select either the Past Day, Past Week, Past Month or Past Year. (I would recommend starting with the Past 24 Hours, then Past Week, this limits the amount to search through).

C4X4GCKD if it still doesn't work, perhaps the deal has ended.
So now I know what happened, depending on the seller, there is 2 different ones, one that sells it for 49.97 and one for 49.98, this last one is the one that accepts the coupon, the other one does not. I was almost going to buy another one but perseverance saved me $3 or $4 in the end.
Thanks!
