As someone who uses their sourdough discard to make waffles, I may actually buy this. Overflow is a PITA haha

Also, this is OOS until October 8th.

I just made waffles this morning with too much baking soda and could have benefited from the anti overflow protection. My mistake estimating clumped baking soda amounts, so I had a mess.
My trick is to simply stop pouring when you're an inch from the edge. Unless you're doing chaffles, in which case fill up the whole thing.

I just used mine this morning, maybe the 4th time overall I've tried it out. I love it. It's really easy to use, cleans up without much effort, and is pretty small for storage. The overflow ring is really helpful, since cleaning up a cooked "spill" is easier than having batter drip down the sides. Don't skimp on the oil/butter and don't be afraid to turn the dial up, especially if you're using a boxed mix.

The only thing I don't like is that the front part/handle where you squeeze and lift the lid can get kind of hot from steam after a couple of rounds of cooking. I'm not sure you can avoid that with such a small device, but just be careful when you go to open it.

I picked mine up for the same price from Best Buy, and I'm very happy with it.

have it and like it, just be warned: i know from experience it can absolutely still overflow the moat if you put too much batter in
