can someone pls recommend an air fryer with metal removable basket? this one has plastic basket that chips

Most air fryers have this same type of teflon basket. I would suggest looking into an air fryer oven. They are a little bigger but have metal racks like an oven. I have the "Power Air Fryer Oven" which I am very happy with. You can also look at the "Nuwave Brio Oven". But again, both are a bit more expensive.

This or the Bella 8 Quart that's on sale right now? Which is better in terms of use ?
I own both, owned the Bella one for about two weeks, the emerald for about a year.

The emerald served me well but the basket was probably good enough for 2 when creating single layers to achieve a fried outer layer.

The bella has more surface area and more features such as preheating and easier presets. It is also louder and it's manual isn't in engrish.

The emerald's customer support is good though, the safety lock broke off within the first month and I exercised the warranty this August to get a new basket since mine was starting to peel. They shipped out the whole bottom part of the unit asking for a video proof of what was wrong. Fairly painless.

The emerald was the first air fryer I've owned and did not give me any troubles, I used it about 4 times a week too.

The Bella I picked up because I was looking for a larger air fryer.

I bought this in July 2018. Used nearly everyday. Mine very seldom has issues where you need to pinch the power cord at the point where it meets the unit, likely due to the way I had it positioned up against the rear backsplash. Very highly recommend this unit, I'm buying a second for when mine eventually dies. When I say I use it everyday, I'm not exaggerating.
Everyday? What do you usually make that you use it almost everyday?

Bagels, frozen waffles, reheat pizza, crisp sandwich bread and melt cheese on sandwiches, fries, frozen items like chicken strips or tenders, reheat chicken, list goes on and on. Family of 5 and most days, at least one meal calls for the air fryer over the toaster or microwave.

Doubt it'll get better than this, my friend. I paid $54.99 before tax in Feb 2019 and thought that was a great deal at the time.

Not the OP but have the ~4 qt analog and am happy with it. I use it quite frequently and more than I expected.

Some things I've used it for: potato/sweet potato fries, chicken wings/drumsticks, pork chops, chicken tenders, apple crisps, fried pickles, fish

It pre-heats very quickly and can often be used in place of my full-size oven.

Bought this one last go around, a month or so ago? Anyway, works well enough but the smell is terrible.

Always wanted to try one of these, at 40 bucks it seemed like a no-brainer. Thank you

I got the Bella a couple of weeks ago and love it. It's bigger than I expected but I also cook for a family of 4 so it saves me time. The one I had b4 was alot smaller and it took me forever to cook for us all. It has several settings and the bottom rack just comes right out so its easy to clean! My old one had 2 screws that held it down so it was harder to clean.

It's been this price a couple times already (bought mine August 6th) mostly as the deal of the day. I doubt it'll go much lower though. It has not been lower than this in the last 120 days according to honey* price history. (*I didn't link it because I'm not sure if SD allows it)
