I had that problem too, but I kept trying and used nearby zip codes, and then it worked.

This one and the air fryer xl have baskets with coating that peels. Not a show stopper but it's probably worth coating the bottom with cooking spray before each use.
Ironically, that's likely the cause the peeling or, at the very least, accelerates it. Cheap cooking sprays have additives and chemicals in them that cause the non-stick to peel [google.com]. That includes brand name cooking sprays like Pam too. Unless you're using the expensive kind that's just oil, you're actually harming the basket.

It will eventually peel naturally with use, but for most people, if it's peeling less than a year in, they're either using it several times a day or spraying on low-quality cooking spray. I feel Teflon air fryer listings should have a note that says, "DO NOT USE WITH COOKING SPRAY" because not a lot of people are aware of this (recently found out myself).

180 day warranty, that might say something about the quality. Regardless, I bought one. I've been looking for a reasonably priced digital air fryer for a while now and this one has free shipping and free returns.

From listing pages, Bella has a 2 year warranty vs Emerald's 180 day. Consider whether you need an 8 qt because, at the end of the day, that's going to take up counter space. On the flip side, the 8 qt isn't much bigger than the 6 qt if you consider the overall air fryer size so it's not bad if you have the space to plan bigger. Bella has way more presets and stainless steel should hold up better over time (it also looks nicer, but that may be subjective). From the photos it looks like Emerald is a two part basket while Bella is a one part (which is easier to clean).
Agree that the Bella basket is easier to clean. I only have to clean the bottom rack most times. I found the 8 quart allows more surface area for heating up bacon alongside bagels. I had a basket within basket air fryer and I prefer the Bella type. The surface coating on the Bella is substantial so it doesn't scratch easily. I also found that a 5 quart size is kind of tight for roasting a whole chicken.

I have this and it does not have a plastic basket. If it did it would melt.

Let me give your the best advice anybody will ever give you... If you don't have a pressure cooker, get a pressure cooker with an air fryer feature. End of story.

For an air fryer bigger is better. I can cook a large steak In both units. But the 6 quart is kinda tight. The 8 quart can hold the steak plus fries or veggies

Bought this a few months ago for this price and I love it. I used it 4 times today. Made sausage and hash browns at the same time. Also wings, meatballs and Brussels sprouts. Easy clean up and works great

Don't smaller items and liquid fall through the holes?
