There is a blue banner saying "support small businesses like this one" on top if the item qualifies.

If you think you found something that a lot of people here might want, then please add a link to it here in the Wiki (with price and brief description).

You can check to see if you've qualified for the credit at amazon.com/primedaycreditcheck [amazon.com].

Difficult to really confirm what qualifies, and almost none of the linked products look like they come from "small businesses" (hint: private-label junk imported from the other side of the world, manufactured from factory slave labor).

But if you luck out, the $10 credit arrives immediately and here's how it looks:
I ended up getting this folding step stool for $10.99 ... Got my credit notification instantly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J76E...CFbE65HWEH
There are similar promotions to receive credit for prime day.

If you spend $10 at Whole Foods Market online or in-store now, get $10 to spend on Amazon for Prime Day 10/13 – 10/14/2020.

Worked for me. I ordered this $17 steamer basket for my instant pot. Mostly for steaming large quantities of eggs and making broths. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

I got the email with a link to claim my credit within 15 minutes of placing my order.

Edit: The price of the basket has dropped to $9.77 and so no longer qualifies. Still it was something I wanted and I came out a few dollars ahead.

It needs to be used on Prime Day (You have to claim it via the email first as well)

"Thanks for shopping from a small business on Amazon.com. A $10 credit will be automatically applied to your next eligible order on Prime Day (Oct 13 and 14). This credit expires at 11:59PM on October 14. You must have an active Prime membership in order to redeem this offer. Restrictions apply. See Terms and Conditions for full details. "
