If i don't need this for gaming, is it worth it to get this TV, or is there a sale that could be had for a different 65inch for about ~500 that would be about 90% of the performance of this TV. I watch mostly sports via youtubeTV and also watch Netflix.
It depends on how picky you are with your viewing habits. If you are a tech snob like me, this TV is just fine for movie watching and TV. If you do t really notice things while watching like brightness and motion there are definitely cheaper options. The 950h would be a better TV if you aren't worried about gaming.

Again, it depends on what kind of quality you want.

This is crazy. I ordered it from them on Sept 20th for $999 and it shows shipped on the 21st, but zero updates since then. Anyone else still waiting on their TV?

Do they price adjust?

Edit: Is your thread not being found because of the wording? I'd try to add "X900H" to your title. I think that's what most people call it.

Oh one more requirement, i just want something where i can tell Alexa to turn ON/OFF the TV. My current TV is a Hisense H6 65 inch, its not bad but its just slow.Im upgrading so i can give this old one to someone else.

I am also interested in the thread where non crazy about TV angle & technicalities. Just looking for a nice reliable big TV (value for money) but also not a crap TV in terms of performance like bad OS, lag etc.

Whats the best I can buy in that sense for $600 to $800 65" to 75"

This one if you dont mind paying slightly above that target. The 9 series Sonys have been very solid sets for quite a few years now. I mean I'll admit that a lot of what makes these sets good is lost on people who just want something that works well and isnt concerned with accuracy and all that stuff, but if the price is so close to what you are budgeting and the sale is good, why not? At this price, this is a very solid buy.

As for others...a lot depends on what exactly comes around at what price as many models out there will fit the bill if you just want something that works well. The only 2 I would make a blanket statement to keep an eye on that are good for what they are and prices they often reach are the TCL 6 series and some versions of the Vizio M series. Those have great bang for the buck and perform very well for the prices they reach. Also maybe keep an eye on the respective Hisense models, but I'm not completely sold on them.

Thank you so much for this. I agree due to price point buy this for 1000 bucks or 75 inch samsung 9 series from costco or 70inchv LG Tv for 599 which has been out there for a while . I see tv tech getting obsolete quicker, like in 2 years it u will be tempted to look again with something new coming in.. also i even dont mind 75inch sony 750x

thats the confusion...

I got the email that PS5 pre-orders were available at 3:27 CST today. I logged into the site at 3:33, and they were already sold out.

My guess is that the Pre-orders went live at 3:00, but the email didn't go out until a short time later.
I added to cart but it won't let me check out

It depends what you're using the TV for. If you're gaming, then this will be perfect. If you're watching TV and movies with your family, this is fine but you may want to consider other brands and models as well. This have very low input lag for gaming and is fully compatible with next generation gaming consoles. If you're gaming, view angles aren't usually as big a deal because gamers typically sit in front of the TV. If you're watching TV and movies, then viewing angles matter more. This isn't bad, but I would go with the 950H or maybe one of mid tier LG models.
