I got the last deal (can't tell you the model number, not handy). They really suck. The bass is good (at least powerful and punchy), but the mids to highs are complete crap.

I thought getting earbuds by a name like Audio Technica for $35(?) bucks was a no brainer. Its a no brainer all right. They suck.

TY. Gonna check out the 550s as I was looking for a bluetooth headphone set with the attached cord like this. Easier to keep up with and works for my purposes.

I think $20 for new Audio Technica headphones is not a bad deal. Even if those are not the best Audio Technica headphones they are much better than 'no name' cheaply made headphones on Amazon or eBay.

Wasn't satisfied with what I saw on these and was looking for a backup pair.

Just bought these for $16.18 including tax. Lightning deal right now with a $7 coupon

Would anyone that has either of these pairs ever use them for "phone calls" aka as work-from-home headset for VOIP calls on a (Windows) laptop?

Looking at the ATH-CKR75BT for music while I still have a phone with a headphone jack, are they designed for music or would they be better for somthing like podcasts?

If your laptop has Bluetooth, it might work, I tried mine with jabber, but jabber is not supporting, but I can use with Skype

The last Taotronics pair I got (SoundElite something with Apt X HD) were underpowered garbage. Both bass and overall volume were severely lacking. A $15 no name brand provided better sound quality.

Deal seems dead. ATH-CKR75BT is out of stock and ATH-CKS550XBT price is back up to $79.
