Get Ravpower or Aukey. They use genuine LG cells and are true to rating.

I have this. I would recommend to someone who doesn't need top of the line battery cells. It works well but however it does not charge my iPad pro as fast as a regular 18w apple charger.

But airport security barely check any powerbank tho
Up to each person if they want to roll those dice, especially when you're usually pressed for time.

My experience is it's never checked in the US, but running about 50% checked when I fly international.

Just bought it's big brother yesterday for $4 more, same specs but max 3A output. Ordered it at 11am, arrived at 430pm same day. Sure it's heavy but what do you expect for 30,000mAh? Want something light, get a smaller battery, it ain't rocket science! It's Amazon, there's reviews there if you're curious

Both 30,000 mAh. Same 3A max output for both. Yours is a hair thicker (.10 in), but the one posted is a hair longer (.10 in). Why do you call it the "big brother" of the one posted?

I'd assume its 3 different types of inputs so you wouldn't need a specific wire. Doubt they can all be used at once.
Featuring 3-input: Micro-USB, l i g h t n i n g and Type-C provides high convenience of recharging this power bank with any of these 3 widely used cables. [from amazon page]

I use a similar RAV power device, it is great to have lighting available.

I might be wrong, but I don't see a max output of 3A for the SW30 PS+. I can only find 2.1A.

The Sense8+ is listed at 3A max output.

I'm assuming that's why he called it the SW30 PS+'s big brother.

The one in the thread here has this in the description bullet points:
  • Fast Charge 3-Output: Charges QC-support devices up to 80% in just 35 minutes, 4 times faster than conventional chargers. 3 USB outputs enable to charge a mobile phone, a tablet simultaneously at maximum speed up to 3 amps.

I bought this from a similar deal posted last week for like $1 more. Definitely worth it. I have a 30000MaH ZeroLemon which still works well, but jumped on this as I'm sure the cells are starting to get a little old. Anyways, it was a good deal at $25 and an even better deal at $24.

Edit - disregard, the one I bought had the battery level indicator lights as opposed to the LED screen. same basic premise, but this one wasn't on sale at the time. I would say this is a pretty damn good deal.

I see that bullet point now.

Yes, I see. Conflicts with the claim of 18W PD on USB-C (which requires 3V output). So either a typo in the specs details, or a false claim in the title and the bullet point. You'd have to verify firsthand, but easy to return if false claim. I also looked for the phrase "This has been updated with a newer version" verbiage that Amazon uses since these two are so similar. Not there for either version.

Also of interest, the original release dates per Amazon are within a month of each other (OP's came out first). I think that OP's looks more modern with its curved lines.

Isn't 30,000 mAh to big to bring on a plane?
THIS IS A GREAT THING TO MENTION!

Whether or not you can bring it on the plane depend entirely on the chemical makeup of the battery and where you plan on storing the battery. In the case of lithium-based batteries the maximum allowable size FOR CARRY ON LUGGAGE is 300 Wh.

This battery [per specifications] is 30 Ah and at 3.7V, the nominal output voltage for most lithium ion batteries, that works out to 111 Wh.

NOTE!! While this battery is legal for carry on per TSA, batteries with higher capacity than 100 Wh require airline approval to be carried on.

THIS BATTERY IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE STORED IN CHECKED BAGGAGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS. YOU RISK A VERY HEFTY FINE OF UP TO $50,000 IF YOU ARE CAUGHT.

Thank you! You wouldn't happen to know how to get airline approval for a battery? I'm assuming they just check to make sure the case is undamaged and puncture resistant?
