I need a deal on the 40v. I skipped it when it was $20-$25 in the past. Shouldn't have as its hard to find and twice the price now.

$52 for me near Portland. Bought two, as we do have lengthy power outages at times, especially during the winter. Thanks, OP!

I'm seeing $129 too, but appreciate you sharing. Maybe put YMMV in title? Awesome to everyone who can get it for $52!

interesting device! Not on clearance for me, but I would like to learn more, what is the expected runtime of say a fan when connected to this? could be great to get us through the night during a power outage but don't know how to do the math...

At the full 300w, 25 mins for a 2.0 AH battery or 60 mins for a 5.0 AH battery. Pretty darn good. I have two 5.0 batteries

For 80V batteries. If you use dewalt (you need 4 of nearly the same capacity dewalt batteries) you can get the dewalt 4 slot charger/inverter. They wire the 4 batteries in series making 80v so I opened it up and made some leads to attach my 80v greenworks batteries. Had over 1kwh at 1300watts to run my fridge at night during the blackout from the last hurricane... running the generator at night is a no no... it sas on sale for like $150 or less like a year or 2 ago... if you do this, make a very safe connector so you dont short it or there will be a giant spark and exploding liquid metal flying around, heh, wear gloves too.

I wish they'd make an auger such as a post hole digger. The competition sells their product as 48v 2.0 hp and costs $350 with only a 2ah battery. The 4ah costs an extra $199..
Also, why don't Makita and such have these for their batteries?

This is an accessory for people that already have 60v Greenworks (or Powerworks, Kobalt, Snapper) batteries for their lawn and garden tools.

If you aren't already invested in those lines of tools, this is not going to make any kind of financial sense, but is a great accessory for those that can take advantage of it.
