There are so many Pre-Covid items, especially paper goods, that were cheaper just months ago. Now that we live in a Covid-Nation I doubt that as long as manufacturers can double & triple profits for the same items that a few months ago they had to offer coupons and discounts to get people to buy that prices will come back down to anywhere near your previous purchases.

Some of the "Black Friday" deals I've seen being teased are on paper towels, toilet paper, wet wipes and cleaning/disinfectant supplies - unheard of in past years and apparently as much desired to be discounted as big screen TVs - with people sleeping 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing....at grocery stores & big box stores that are offering the discounts on them.

How sad will it be if an employee gets trampled opening the doors for people rushing to get at a limited number of marked down TP, or the grandkids faces when they open their Xmas presents and instead of disappointing socks or underwear they get toilet paper or paper towels.

One fun thing to note on this Bounty offer is the first question asked and the 20 or so responses to it, goes to show how being cooped up isn't so good for you.....

Question: How do you install these to a ceiling fan?

Answer: Take 2 tabs of LSD, wait 90 minutes. You'll then see how remarkably easy it will be to install the paper towels to the fan.

First you need to have a ceiling fan which I unfortunately learned the hard way after I opened up the box and found only paper towels in it. No fan, no batteries & no installation instructions. Not that I'd need them being that I don't have a ceiling fan. This are also not designed for central AC. I'm somewhat perturbe… see more

Simply fasten a 3/4" dowel to each ceiling fan blade with duct tape or zip ties, then slide a roll of paper towels over each dowel. Use a 3" Sheetrock screw in the end of the dowel to keep the roll from siding off the end of the dowel when turning the fan on. For best results, unroll a few sheets then roll them back on… see more

Beyond overpriced. Haven't had any issues finding regularly priced paper towel locally for months now in Philadelphia.

It's like $0.20 cheaper per 100 sheets at target. Why the thumbs ups?

Yeah. This is insane. I got the same pack from Amazon last November for about $17.50 total.

You can get 16/48 total (2 packs of 8/24) rolls from Walmart every day for $1 more than this. Amazon has basically no deals since the original shortage started earlier this year.

Is that for Bounty or a generic brand? (I'm already going to Target today)

I bought from target recently too, shipped to the house. Limit one package bounty in each order. I had to order three sized bounty packages from target to get free shipping. $44 = 50 single rolls after tax

I just bought this at Costco 12 rolls select a size, which usually is more expensive then standard rolls, for 20.99. That's 66 sq m, this comes to about 90 sq m. So for less than 50% more ur almost paying twice as much.
First off people think amazon is the price standard, cheapest, they're not.
Second people think they're getting a service for nothing, they're not. Shipping isn't free it's built into the price.
I've been home bound in NJ which has no real consumer protection in my opinion. I've had to get groceries delivered. Costco for instance for online orders, shows at bottom of each item description that price may be lower in warehouse vs online. It typically runs 10%-20% higher when they say that. They have a same day service and once again they quote deliver is free, but in service page it says delivery company adds a small fee. Well I calculated it out and it's 20%, plus they say u have to give a tip bc that's how server makes their money, they don't put it that way but it is essential that. So a total of 25%-40% fee over in store price.
