This could be targeted, not sure. Shows 'Prime Discount' of $20 off to get it from $80 to $60.

Ah was hoping this was the wired one. Also FYI, the 20% trade in coupon for security devices does not apply to this.
Holding out for that too, already drilled the hole for another camera

Battery version is garbage. It is totally different from wired version. Wired version has motion zones. Motion zones is more accurate and efficient than battery version. If you don't want random false alert. Avoid battery version at all cost!
Thanks for the insight -- I was about to pull the trigger, but motion zones is a must for me based my experience and use cases, too. It looks like the battery powered versions have basic, pre-defined, motion zones for left/front/right, which may be good enough for some folks.

How do the "Stick-up" cams compare to the "Spotlight" cams? I have 4 Spotlight battery cams w/ Solar panels connected for constant power but was curious how the Stick-ups compare.

Got gen 2 and gen 3, night vision and video quality is much better on 3rd gen. The fov is better on 2nd gen but night vision was horrible, returned it and got 3rd gen
Thanks, good to know. I have two stick up cams. The night vision is not good. I am not sure which geration I have, maybe first. How do I determine which one I have. I even added a bright motion sensor security light near the one by my garage to try to increase night capturing.

Yep. I complained and they actually sent me the wired one and I paid maybe $20 difference.

At 60 bucks, I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work, maybe I'll actually shoot it, then...

i will never have a cloud required cam in my house or around my house except the doorbell. everything else will be cloud disabled, so nope. as a cybersecurity guy, i know better
really? "cybersecurity guy" ? . . . . lol

how much time and money did you spent to arrive at that conclusion, could have just asked me and i would have told you that for free? lol

look, i can do the same thing: state the obvious, give myself a big title . . . and . . . :

i will never ingest bleach. as a doctor guy, i know better woot hope you took notes, because this was profound.

I have one of these 2nd gen refurbs, and use it with a solar panel for keeping it charged. My use case shoots down on my front yard from 2 stories up.

The IR emitters are weak, so night vision was poor from that distance. I added a cheap Lonnky IR illuminator and now the whole yard is easy to see in the dark.
