Better off buying at target and price match with Walmart since Walmart sells it for $49.94 and on top of that use your red card which is another 5% off. I bought my second AC copy yesterday so the kids can have their separate islands lol

Or buy it at amazon if you don't have a red card 😁

Wife and I have put just an embarrassing, obscene amount of hours into this game since it came out. First game she has actually ever requested to get and played since I've known her, and she was completely sucked into it. Wonderful escapism. I had never played a game like this, but I was hooked, too. I can say with certainty that I'm hooked on the series forever now. It's so charming and wholesome and fun.

With Nintendo developed/published games, even $10 off is as good a price as any to pull the trigger. It might go on sale for $10 less SOMEDAY, but there is 0 certainty of that with them. Though I do have to say, I've scored more deals on Switch games than I ever imagined I would. Maybe things are changing a little.

I dont get it . Isn't it a 23% apr on the target red card? Would you be paying more than the 5% ($2.50) that you saved?
Not with the debit card.

Didn't think about price matching. I just ordered online yesterday and picked up from Walmart. Chase Freedom card currently has 5% back on purchases from Walmart or purchase made with Paypal, so price ended up the same without having to do the price match.

Pay it back in full so you don't get charged interest.

Omg same here! I had gotten it for our daughter and now my wife and I spend a crazy amount of time on it once the kids go to bed. It's become our family quarantine thing.

That is IF you for example DONT make payment on time. That's the standard catch for borrowing $ from various financial insitutions which is their bread and butter. It's all on the fine prints, which is your job to read; not anyone else nor companies

I know people that know nothing about video games (other than cheap mobile games like Candy Crush) was dying to get this game and a Switch Lite.
