My bad if this has been posted already.. Appears to be a targeted promo (Amex holders) but I got a banner on the Amazon landing page with a click-through link to get $10 off your next purchase if you change your default payment method to an Amex card

Wasn't eligible for the $10 AMEX credit, but I was browsing around Amazon this morning and saw an ad that said "Your Personalized Offer." When I clicked on that, it offered me a $50 promotional credit just for adding a debit card to my account. Insanely great deal. Looks like the credit is valid for 30 days after you redeem the offer:

This offer is available only to customers who were served an advertisement and entered a valid, non-expired card through the "Add-a-Card" promotion. Credit must be redeemed by 16:10 hrs UTC on 11/08/2020. Unredeemed credit will expire after that time. The credit may be redeemed on the purchase of physical products sold and shipped by Amazon.com or products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities which qualify for this offer. Offer excludes certain Digital content and products, including but not limited to Alexa, Fire, and Kindle products/devices, Gift Cards, Cloud drive and paid subscriptions such as Prime, Kindle Unlimited, Free Time Unlimited, Comixology Unlimited and Personal Shopper services. The credit will be allocated proportionally among all eligible items in your order. Shipping charges and taxes may apply to the full value of discounted and free promotional items. Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address. You are responsible for the final purchase price after the credit is applied, plus applicable taxes and shipping charges. If any of the products purchased with the credit are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product, subject to applicable refund policies.

I bought something not on the list and I still got the promo... I think this works with anything that's business related.

I bought Sth, and promo credit applied
After you added the card the terms say this> After you successfully add your qualifying credit card or debit card, you will receive an email notification specifying the expiration date of the promotional credit.

Did you receive that email from them also?

"Sorry, you were not eligible for this promotion." when I login into amazon account

But Amex is offering me "Spend $50 or more, get $10 back. Up to 2 times (total of $20)."

Not sure what the deal is. Got the advertisement, activated promo, and I have this message:

Thank you for choosing American Express
The credit has already been applied to your Amazon account. Redeem it on qualifying purchases by December 25, 2020.

However I do not see the promo when checking out. I followed all guidelines, buying something shipped and sold from Amazon.

Chatted several times with Amazon to no avail. Any ideas? Anyone else have this issue? Been over 24 hours since I activated it.

Ty and repped. I (did not receive an ad nor email for the offer) went thru your link and added a chase cc to my wallet and tried a $60 purchase ship/sold by Amazon but there was no credit applied on the checkout pg, so I canceled by backing out of the checkout page and left it in my cart. I haven't received the email either, so am assuming since I was not emailed the offer initially, I am ineligible.
