Thanks for the Amazon link - great deal, but Home Depot doesn't ship to CA, and didn't see another listing for the same item which does ship to CA (which has happened before with some Hue items, I gather it's a packaging difference). Thankfully, Amazon will ship to CA, so got 2 ☺️

I just moved into a house and hit the hard limit of connected bulbs... Twice... I went from an apartment with one hub to a house with four. Basement, ground floor, upstairs, garage/outside. 189 bulbs, a smattering of switches and buttons

Already gone. Clicked the link and saw it available. Added to cart and then when I went to checkout it wasn't in my cart anymore and now it's not coming up. 😡

My HD knocked it down to $20 and I grabbed the last one a week ago. I had planned to stay away from smart bulbs but this can also control blinds and if I'm being honest I'm a couple years from having time to wire the smart switches that I want. Hue is one of two smart bulb solutions that are legitimately scalable throughout a house. Hue uses the zigbee standard with a thin proprietary layer on top of it, so these are much more interoperable than competing systems.

Whuf. If those were wifi bulbs you could have a whole subnet for them! If you had guests you'd have to turn off the kitchen lights so they could connect to wifi!

What's the point of the hub when you can connect Hue through WIZ/google home? Wonder if they are getting rid of the hub altogether.

Same price in store. Nothing left around me so rounds were already made most likely.

Guests already connect to a different subnet so they can't contr smart stuff without login credentials or access camera feeds 🤣. Love my unifi setup!
