Dunno how hot a deal this is, but $300 off seems decent: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p...5dgc9kgmhw

Details:
  • Display 15.6 in Full HD LED display (1920 x 1080)
  • Refresh rate 144 Hz
  • Processor Intel Core i7-10750H 2.60 GHz
  • Memory 16GB DDR4 2933 MHz
  • Hard drive size 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD
  • Operating system Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
  • Audio DTS: X Ultra Audio
  • Video NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with 8GB dedicated graphics memory
  • Bluetooth Bluetooth 5.0
  • Dimensions 14.3 x 10 x 0.78 in
  • Weight 3.75 lbs according to microsoft.com, 4.41 lbs according to acer.com
  • Model number: PT315-52-729T
  • https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con....Q7AAA.002
Microsoft offers a student discount, but it doesn't seem to stack with the sale price.

For purposes of comparison (also 144Hz, 16 GB DDR4):
  • Acer Nitro 5 ($1050, 17.3", RTX 2060, i7-9750H, 512 Gb, reportedly terrible keyboard)
  • Acer Helios 300 ($1179, RTX 2060, i7-10750H, 512 Gb, reportedly runs cooler than Triton 300)

Good idea. I get a 500 error when I attempt to edit the post.

A way to circumvent that error is to do it on mobile mode on your phone's browser.

Hmm, I wonder how this stacks up to the HP Omen Costco deal we had last month for the same price.

I'm not sure if the laptop is any good, but the specs look pretty darn impressive to me for the price!

Dont mislead folks.

You can't use funds in your Microsoft account to purchase physical goods from Microsoft online stores.

Ugggggghhh a 10750H Intel CPU. Why do they keep trying to sell underpowered and low core count CPUs when the Ryzen 4000 series CPUs are blowing all of the Intel CPUs out of the water? Its like buying trash.

Instead put a Ryzen 4800H and drop this to $1099 then you have a decent deal. Asus zenbook 14s with better 4800H processors are around $1k already.

Go watch all the benchmarks between 2070 ryzen and Intel laptops. I'd definitely opt for ryzen if it was just a work laptop, but the gaming benchmarks are bad. Why pay for a 2070 just to gimp it with a ryzen?
