Good deal, although these wear out way faster than the warranty. Mine wore out on my Subaru at 22k, with them being rotated every 6k, and mostly country mile/highway driving.

I dont believe it was the tires fault, not on a subaru. I get about 35k on my genesis and 55k on my lincoln and both should wear the premiers faster than a subaru. Was it worn evenly?

Would a 235/65R18 set work as a replacement for 235/55/R18 tires? Wondering if these would work on a 2014 Rav4 limited.

No I would not suggest going 2 sizes up from original

great deal. thanks. I got a price match with discount tire, where I did all my previous tire service and shopping. there is even a $70 michelin rebate that expires by EOD today. The rebate does not have to submitted today, but the transaction has to happen today. This bring the total cost of 4 LTX tires to ~$440. best deal i have had so far on tires. Thank you for posting

Tirerack survey also rates treadwear at 4.9, so it's not a unique experience.

One thing to consider is assuming if it fits, it'll throw off your odometer since the tire is bigger. So when it says you're going 40, you're actually going 42.6mph and 60 would be ~64mph. You'll get an extra inch of height though

This guy managed to put 235 60 18 on his without issues but you gotta do your own research https://www.rav4world.com/threads...st-2689947

Why not go to a tire store and have one of the technicians check this out for you? They usually have the spec with certain variations around the oem spec.

The technicians will basically tell you to go with oem spec, pretty sure it's a liability thing. I'm currently on 265/60r18 right now on my SUV but will be moving up to 265/65r18 when it's time for new tires

In my case I had 235/60 as oem but they are willing to install 235/65. I think they are working with a range. Last year I had to install a set of winter tires with two step change on speed rating and they are not willing to do it. All I am saying is it doesn't hurt to ask
