I think this is particularly for people who dont have spare m2 slots on their laptops/motherboards. Doesn't heat much as well. I have a 2TB on my system and has been running great for a year now.

Thanks. Just one more question. May be a dumb question, does the laptop have any size limit on Bios or something that it can recognize. Mine is an old laptop core I7 8gb ram. currently, it's on 1TB Samsung 850 PRO not sure whether I will have any issue with it recognizing 2TB?

Nothing that I am aware of, large HDDs have been around for a while, it just finally becoming more economical to get them into the smaller sizes for laptops.

Thanks for the response. Cancelled 1TB and ordered 2TB. worst case I will use it my other ProBook and switch 1TB to my old laptop.

Is the 500gb variant a good price? 64.99. lowest it's been according to camel is 58.99 11 months ago. Anyone think it's going to drop anymore?
