Price dropped this morning on Amazon for the Samsung 860 EVO SSD, and they have a 10% cash back when using the Amazon prime store card, potential cost after CB is $103.49, YMMV as you need Prime store card.

QA Note: Looks like the Amazon store card is back to the normal 5%.

Just picked one up and BestBuy priced match this! If anyone is curious, I would pay more for the Samsung ssd over other brands just for reliability reasons.

Did you somehow manage to get BB to price match even the cashback?

How do we verify that we receive the cash back? Is the CB reflected on the order invoice?

Love my 512Gb PRO.
Again, I wish the PRO model were even just 50% more in price, but of course it is not, more like 250% higher.

Firstly I've built most of my own computers over the years since the mid 90s. I was totally into it for years and would keep up on things all the time. But I decided to focus on other things in life so about 5 years ago bought my first Dell, and 'm a bit out of touch with what can and cannot work. The Dell XPS8700 desktop I have has an i7 4790 and 8gb of ram. But is has an HDD. I'd like to put in an SSD and do a fresh install of Windows. Hardware wise, should this be a pretty straight forward thing to buy a SSD like one of these do a fresh install on it? I guess really what I'm getting at is this has should have all the same connections as the HDD and should work pretty seamlessly, almost as if it were an HDD, but it is just an SSD, right?

Sounds like a good deal, but should I wait till BF? Any 2tb drives worth recommending? My laptop needs a little more space and I am tempted to splurge on an ssd so I don't have to transfer files and make space every few weeks.

Just bought mine from Amazon Warehouse for $86!! Amazon price manipulates, had been tracking it tryna get the drive below $90 and noticed that stock suddenly would say only 16 left in stock and price would go down, hit refresh and it said 13 left in stock and price increased slightly....
