Use Chase Credit Card 5% Cash Back Offer on up to $1,500 in combined purchases when using PayPayl from 10/1/2020 – 12/31/2020.

If ordering "Renewal / Existing SIM," use an address from a tax free state to skip taxes on eBay

Clarifying Details from Red Pocket customer support rep CS Karl on 12-Oct.
  • Hotspot Tethering on CDMA: "We do apologize please be advise that we only support hotspot /tethering on our CDMA network for IOS devices." (implying android does not support tethering on the CDMA)
  • Upgrading your old plan to this one: "You need to upgrade it on the expiration date of the each of the plan, because if you will upgrade it today it will apply right away and remaining days for the current plans will be gone or forfeited"
  • How long do we have to activate this plan/SIM? "Please be advise that activations for the annual plan has a Expiration date of 90 days" (implying that if your renewal date is more than 90 days away from your purchase date, you may want to wait for the next sale)
  • Does our old 5GB plan have 7GB now or still 5GB? "Although the 5gb plan I purchased Black Friday 2019 now shows as a 7gb plan on the "My Lines" summary page, the actual remaining capacity is only 5gb per month when they calculate it." Karl indicated " it will become 7GB on the renewal date" --ChronoTriggered: "My 5GB now shows I have 7GB per month with 6GB remaining, so I believe it was upgraded."
  • Is this truly Unlimited Data? "Unlimited" data does not imply unlimited high speed LTE data. After burning through your 7GB of limited high speed data the plan speeds slow.

I have the 5GB CDMAV plan and I do now have 7GB to use per month. Other's here have stated they did and did not get the 7GB changed, so it might be YMMV. Here's how it happened for me:

In September on their website under my account details, the wording of my plan changed from to the 7GB, but my remaining data did not reflect the additional 2GB. It wasn't until my new month cycle in October did my data reflect 7GB of data remaining. My app that tracks my data usage (DataFlow on iOS) says I've used about 2.0GB so far and I just checked my Red Pocket account and I have 5GB remaining.

So, when did you notice the 7GB plan change under your account? When does your new month cycle begin?
Mine had showed it changed to the 7GB plan but the data was still showing only 5GB at the new month period. Had to have CS change it manually. They said some accounts are not automatically getting changed....so if you were on a previous 5GB plan that shows that it switched to the new 7GB....make sure you log into your account through the RP site and scroll down to check your remaining data to make sure it got changed also.

Done with this "business". CS said this would stack since I was renewing the same plan. It didn't stack and I lost 2 months. Filing a credit card charge back. Don't believe a word the rep here says.
We can certainly take a look into this and provide some clarity on what happened. Please send us a DM with your MDN/account information, thanks!

What's wrong with your eBay store? I can't even purchase the regular price $240 for the 7GB plan!

took three different go rounds with support on the phone and a couple via ebay email but they finally got my SIM working on my brand new factory unlocked Moto G Power. Very annoying. I've done the ATT Red Pocket in the past with no problems. This was my first attempt at using the Verizon SIM.

If I'm currently on Verizon's postpaid phone plan and I like the coverage, etc, I should just buy the CDMA sim set right? I have the iPhone XS. This question seems super dumb but I'm going to hop off the postpaid plan to save some money and this is the first time ever I'm doing prepaid stuff thanks!
I'm planning to do the same after Thanksgiven sale. I've seen on other websites posts (1-2 year old) about Red Pocket Mobile not allowing to port Verizon number to GSMA/Verizon sim due "to contractual agreement". And now I'm starting to wonder is this still the case.

and
https://help.redpocket.com/hc/en-...et-Mobile-

Looks like there is a way - to use one more phone that is not used with Verizon to insert Red Pocket SIM and then port the number.

Did anybody try using red pocket mobile CDMA sim with iPhone 12? I just talked to RP and they said they do not support CDMA on 5G devices... technician could still try doing this - but no guarantee that is will work.
I'll try with 1 month CDMA sim activating it in older iPhone without porting my existing number first.
As alternative they can sent me GSMA or GSMT SIM card.

I'm on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with Red Pocket's CDMA SIM card and it's showing 5G on the top right next to my service bars. Data, calling, and text has been working fine.

I was using the same SIM card in my iPhone XS Max for almost a year, got the iPhone 12 Pro Max (from the Visible deal), activated it with my Visible SIM card, then put my Red Pocket sim inside it. Works perfectly fine as expected.

Perhaps the technician was referring to 5G android devices not being compatible, not aware that the new iPhone was also capable of 5G now?

I bought a Pixel 3a from Google Store for Fi (T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint) last year and then started using Ultra Mobile (T-Mobile) service.

I am planning to return to Red Pocket. I was a RP customer for at least 3 years.

Will Pixel 3a work with Verizon and AT&T without any issues? Does it have all bands for Verizon and AT&T?

I prefer international calling without dialing an access code. Do I need to avoid CDMA and choose GSM? I don't see GSMT for all plans. I am looking at 7 GB per month annual plan.

I believe Sprint merged with T-Mobile. Can I choose CDMAS and still make international calling without an access code?

Thanks.

I have an android on att and iphone 6s+ on verizon. 7gb annual.
Last time I tried I could phone international without access code on att GSMA, but I could not complete call on verizon CDMA with or without access code. I was trying the 'free' countries. They may have fixed this by now, but I chatted with support on their website and also sent a msg to the RP rep who comes on here. Both said they would get back to me. Nobody did.

My annual plan for both expires mid Feb so I'm planning renew next week when they will likely drop the prices.

Can't answer your pixel question or CDMAS.

Got the att plan. As per the website, international calling is included. But I have not been able to get it to working in the last 2 weeks. I am really annoyed now

Is it supposed to work w/ Verizon? I sent you a DM and also chatted with support. They were going to email me and I never got a response from you.

Thank you. Worked seamlessly. Now I'm ready for Red Pocket Mobile Black Friday deal to make a move from Verizon contract.
