iPhone 7 32GB Verizon Prepaid @ Target for $99 (As low as $59 YMMV)

Just as the title says.

A brand new Verizon Prepaid Silver iPhone 7 32GB for $99 in most stores. It's Priced at $59 in some stores. This is of course a YMMV situation.

No hoops or service plans to navigate. Straight up with no chasers.

Unlocks at the 60 day mark, after the date of activation with Verizon's own prepaid service.

Generally the prepaid iPhones are kept locked away with all the other apple products in the back or locked with contract phones. They are NOT just hanging out with the el cheapos.

Price reflected online isn't the same as the in-store price.

Check the brickseek link for a more narrow estimate of stock levels in your area.

Happy Hunting!

iPhone 7 is an aging phone. I don't see a reason to own one as an iPod other than to trade in.

That's my intention, for example this deal.
Yeah a good deal if you're trading. AT&T is also offering a free S20 FE with trade in of an iPhone 6S or newer so this phone qualifies as well. Bizarrely they will only take the Oneplus 5 for that deal as a trade phone and not newer Oneplus Phones but I think someone at AT&T botched the offer because they were probably supposed to do the opposite since their other cheaper phones you can trade for accept the newer Oneplus phones. Pretty sure they were supposed to exclude the Oneplus 5 but instead made it the only trade in lol

That is bizarre and counter intuitive, I hope people who take advantage of that AT&T offer trading in a OnePlus 5 they take screen shots/videos galore.

Only the 99 showing in stock. All the 60 out of stock. North and central Texas.

Seems like a decent backup phone if you can unlock it on the cheap. Would adding it to post paid also unlock it after 60 days? I'm assuming yes since that 60 day rule was just to combat fraud.

How much does it cost to have 60 days prepaid on Verizon, to be able to unlock it?

It's $30 for a month of service prepaid and that's all you need. Don't even have to pay second month. After 60 days it's unlocked. That's what happened with 6s deal with previous target deal. Also if you buy two of these phones you can use one sim to unlock two phones just buy buying one month service.

Some targets around me show them as Limited and some In-stock(no numbers against those stores)... based on members past experience, do you think theirs fair chance I can find them?
I bought iPhone 6s YMMV deal at target before. Based on my experience, brickseek is quite accurate for Target. If it shows in stock in Target, I definitely will try. For brickseek YMMV in Walmart, I won't try, I tried before, never got the deal.

Any idea what the trade in value of 7 would be. It won't be flat for all phones right?

You are getting s7 for 70-80 bucks for trade in with the Costco deal. You get them online or even local pickups.

iPhone 12s get announced today (Tuesday), so expect these older phones to drop in price significantly.

I've been eyeing that Costco deal for the $200 Galaxy S20 FE 5G but didn't have a qualifying trade. $300 net to move up to a near-flagship 5G phone without adding a line or 2 years of bill credits sounds pretty good to me.
